That said, the unit itself is sturdy, but larger than I expected. I must say, the rose color is very attractive. I did sauté vegetables in it and that worked perfectly, so I’m confident it would handle pressure cooking or slow cooking well, even though the size is too small for my family’s needs, so I use the larger version for pressure cooking meals. Overall, it’s a quality appliance with nice features, but not the best fit for me when it comes to rice.
