This TV ended up being a great purchase. This TV is great value for the money. Picture is excellent viewing straight-on, side view is usable but not ideal. Sound better than expected for price.My family and I had a movie night with the kids and I was very impressed by the visual and sound quality. The screen captured vibrant colors in such great precision with very smooth motion technology. The sound quality of the built-in speakers have a comfortable and balanced audio for watching day-to-day. I also enjoy the variety of content choices and connectivity options, pairing smoothly with our gaming consoles and streaming devices.

I brought this TV as a birthday gift for my husband who loves playing online games. The screen quality of his computer monitors often fell short, so I decided to invest in this model. He absolutely loves it! The picture quality is crystal clear, and the motion speed is impressively fast. Gone are the days of laggy screens. Additionally, he can now enjoy Netflix on this TV when he’s not gaming. The Mini-LED technology, combined with Full Array Local Dimming Pro, ensures that every detail stands out vividly. The QLED Quantum Dot Technology enhances the color spectrum, making the visuals truly stunning. The Hi-View Engine chipset optimizes picture quality with features like Dynamic Tone Mapping Pro and AI Detail Enhancement. When it comes to gaming, Game Mode Plus delivers a seamless experience with Variable Refresh Rate, Auto Low Latency Mode, and AMD Free-sync compatibility. This mode fits all his needs. This TV has exceeded our expectations and has become a central part of our entertainment setup.

Sound does not sync with the picture. Picture lags and skips. A black blob appears on the screen in dark scenes. Closed captioning is a hassle to turn off and on. Would not connect to our Bluetooth sound bar.

I am not a TV expert but a few things I can simply observe:
– The picture quality is really good, due to the miniLED technology it uses. The black pixels are really dark.
– The Google OS is responsive and easy to use coming from a Roku tv and now prefer the Google over the Roku.
– About the speakers, they are quite impressive. The speakers have fuller sound with a decent amount of bass while still maintaining clarity in voices. Definitely better than I was expecting for the value.
– May not be very ideal for gaming as the refresh rate is 60MHz relatively lower than other models.

This TV blew me away with its stunning picture quality, thanks to miniLED tech making blacks deep and colors pop! Switching to Google OS was a breeze, way smoother than my old Roku. And let’s talk sound – unexpectedly rich with bass and crystal-clear voices! Though not a gaming champ with its 60MHz refresh rate, it’s a steal for the value. Overall, a fantastic choice!

Ok I must me one of the only ones still using a plasma TV but I really just like the picture on those things compared to my LED TV in my living room. Huge downfall is it’s heavy. I need to mount the TV since we changed our furniture. Other thing is it runs hot, making our room very hot in the warmer month.

So I decided to upgrade with this 50 inch. This is way lighter than the last one. Great since we didn’t mount it on studs but just with anchors on the dry wall. Also it’s larger than my previous one. The picture quality is sharp. The speaker is pretty loud and sufficiently clear at higher levels. I just use a fire stick with it so can’t comment about the TV options. Good price point. No need to spend on expensive brands.

This 55inch TV fit on top of a 9-drawer dresser in my bedroom. Watching TV from the bed feels just right height. Comparing it to another TV from the same brand we bought two years ago, the colors on this one are richer, and the blacks and shadows appear deeper.

The remote control has been upgraded too; it feels more premium and has backlit buttons, it is super handy for nighttime viewing. The TV has smart system and I also added an Fire TV for even smoother operation. The sound quality is good. It has a slim frame and the viewing experience is visually pleasing and less bulky.

I start all of my reviews the same way, HONESTY..

The HiSense TV brand has always caught my eye when walking through best buy over most other TV’s. Reason being is the image quality is immediately apparent next to their insanely low price. You kind of scratch your head and think, how is this possible? While I do not have those answers, I can tell you what I do know, this 55U6N is a really, really good value when it comes to price per feature.

Let’s Start with.. Image Quality – This tv has something called Quantum Dot Color along with Mini-LED Full Array Local Dimming. Wow that was a mouth full. Let’s break it all down.
The Quantum Dot Color technology gives you these amazingly crisp and vivid colors. I find that when I hook up an HDR or Dolby Vision compatible device the Image just wows you, like I remember sitting there the first time thinking this tv looks amazing. The color science HiSense is using is definitely different than other manufacturers as I have other tv’s in my home from different brands, BUT HiSense stands out in front of them with their unique color science and technologies.
When you take their Quantum Dot Color and pair it with their Mini-Led Backlight you get something really special. The Mini-LED Backlit panel basically gives you 10 times the amount of LED’s than you would normally have with a standard backlit tv. This gives you uniform brightness in your picture and it also allows another neat little trick! With the Mini-LED Backlight you can manipulate individual LEDs to brighten or darken and this will give you deeper blacks in the content you are watching as well as reduce backlight bleeding that you will normally see with NON-Mini-LED TV’s.
I know that was a lot but it basically comes down to an incredibly well balanced and stunning image that you will get with this tv.

Google TV – This of course is a SMART TV at the heart of the operating system is GOOGLE TV and in the last couple of days it has been snappy and quick to navigate and I have already downloaded all of my favorites apps as well as re-assigned the favorite button on the remote with my TV Streaming service. The setup was very smooth and easy especially if you have the Google Home App on your phone, you will be able to setup the tv through that which will speed things up.

Gaming – I have hooked this up to my XBOX game console and ensured that my settings on both the TV and Game System were setup properly.
On the tv you will want to change the picture mode to GAME in the General section under “Picture Settings” on the TV. This will ensure to turn off all enhancements that can affect the response time when gaming.
On the console you will want to visit the Video settings as well and make sure you have 4KHDR selected and depending on your console the highest allowable frame rate. Having these settings applied should give you the best possible experience when gaming.
So far the image has been phenomenal and quick response with no noticeable lag. The experience of playing a game on a tv like this is rewarding I must say. There’s also a game bar option you can access from the remote control which will give you shortcuts specific to gaming. I like the cross-hair option. This gives you a nice counterpoint that works great for shooter games.

The Remote Control – I won’t spend to much time on this but generally speaking I like it a lot. The remote has a nice texture to it and is BACKLIT yep, this is so nice at night when it’s dark in the room. The remote has a bunch of shortcuts on it and a favorite button which you can assign to your favorite app. I use it for my TV Service. The buttons on it have a nice feel to them and overall build quality feels great.

There’s so many other features this tv has but in the week I have been using it these are the things that stood out to me. I can’t wait to learn more about what this tv can offer.

So far I cannot comment on longevity as I just received the tv, but hopefully it lasts a long time.
If you’re on the fence about getting this tv, I would say go for it, you won’t be disappointed by the performance of the tv.
