Great monitor for gaming and general use.
for a wide screen 1440p this looks great and does a great job for gaming. bought for more space to do work on screen but also to game.at 144hz it handles games great had no issues playing COD,Cyperpunk or Battlefield 2042 looks good and runs smooth but make sure you have a good GPU to handle this resolution I have a RTX 3080 so this card can handle this monitor at 3440 x 1440 resolution. speakers are fine but have a soundbar so don’t use them. even do ViewSonic has the Elite series monitors that cost way more then the Omni series is cheaper but this gets the job done. colors look good had no issues with ghosting games run great also the brightness is good have no issues. using a stand so not using the stand that came with it supports 100 x 100 vesa no issues. first one i order had bad light bleed around the screen and 4 dead pixels second one was excellent very minimal light bleed and only one dead pixel but its in the corner can barely see it specially how big this screen is unless your look for it you might not find one.im very picky so i test my displays so that’s a issue when buying monitors so keep in mind. overall this can handle gaming just fine with out spending too much im happy..

Comments are correct stopped working day 2.
Monitor had everything you could want, if only they put usable cables with the monitor. The Display Port cable cannot run the resolution marketed, I needed to use another display port cable that I had at home. Then on day 2 the PSU was faulty. I added a video of an example. I will keep the 1 star until the manufacturer fixes the problem
They will not offer a quick solution when they have faulty product. Despite my proof I was sent to a robotic automated system, for “troubleshooting”. I sent another message and its been a few days with no response. I will update so you know what their customer service is like in the likely case that you have an issue.
UPDATE: I bought another power supply and demanded a reimbursement for the charger I ordered making Amazon aware, at that point rather then reimbursing the $15 charger they said no but that they will send me a charger(its frustrating to see what should have happened in the beginning be offered). You will recieve the run around hiding behind a”against policy” excuse if you buy this.

Great monitor! very impractical bulky base
The monitor came in today and it is beautiful and graphics look great! However, the base is super bulky and has a back side that sticks out like 3 inches, therefore the desk cannot get close to the wall… the front part of the base also sticks out on a awkward angle.
Wish they would’ve built it with a simple base instead of giving it fancy angles.

Saved my eyes
I had a 9 year old monitor and couldnt quite put my finger on it but it would always strain the heck out of my eyes as soon as I’d look at it. Bought this baby, installed the drivers, set screen to text mode….eye strain is gone! The higher fps helped a bunch too compared to the old 60 fps, and the blue light effect wasn’t the issue ether. This monitor holds true to its word about including eye care within their product. I will be keeping an eye out for any ground breaking prowess this brand makes in the future; saved me my future in regards to work getting this because of the eye strain I used to have, not anymore now thank goodness. Also, am thankful that this was sold for $295 for like new condition; about the price of a TV but this is 100s time better than a TV. Screen looks crisp, clear, and beautiful, make sure if you get this to also look for a monitor desk arm, its well worth it, I found an amazing all black hydrolic metal monitor arm to pair with this on sale for $35 on amazon. This is my second ViewSonic monitor I’ve ever owned and I am a happy customer once again. Please continue r&d into eye care for monitors. Thanks again.

The Only Monitor You Will Need
To keep this simple, this monitor is perfect for gaming, entertainment, and most importantly, work.
With its 144hz refresh rate (which is achieved via 1.2 display port only), it is exactly what I need for those days when I decide to game.
When it comes to work, having 34 inches (corner to corner, 21:9 aspect ratio) of ultra wide real estate became necessary for my line of work (IT Support); it must be pointed out that there are virtually no blind spots when looking at this monitor from different angles, which is perfect for clarity when it comes to moving around a lot.
I should warn that I am not an expert when it comes to colorspace, however I find no issues with the colors of the monitor either; although, I’m sure others may find that there could be a greater degree of color to fill.
Overall my only gripe is that there is no option (at the least I’m aware of, searched for an answer, found none) for supporting side-by-side display for two sources; or at the very least, PIP. I really would like to be able to have my personal computer running next to my work computer when at work. I don’t think this is the biggest deal, and definitely not a reason to give the monitor less than five stars. Just a feature I missed out on.
Overall, amazing monitor, especially given the price.

It works, but not the best picture in the world.
It’s fine, but if you’re using it with a MacBook Pro, the difference in screen quality is quite noticeable, and I can’t match the color no matter how I try.

Best gaming monitor for the money!
I have a gaming PC, Series X, and PS5 all attached, and they look amazing! The best part is it has real speakers! Not some tiny throw ins to say it does. I actually have to turn the sound down at times! If you need a budget level gaming monitor that looks and sounds like high-end, this is the monitor you are looking for.

Decent for gamers.
This monitor is decent for gamers
Out of the box, the monitor is in eco mode which made it really dim even if you turn up the brightness. However, this monitor won’t go that bright when compared to most other standard 2k 144hz monitors.
The viewing angle is pretty good, and it comes with free sync with minimal ghosting. So for gamers the experience will be very satisfactory
