ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDP 27” 1440P Gaming Monitor

Display and hertz are full bugged I already updated latest firmware and changed cables(used hdmi 2.1 and dp 1.4) whenever I try to use 1920x1080p 480hz and I load a game it caps my fps to 180hz, found couple fixes but ruins the purpose for the monitor pretty much either you need to have your game on windowed mode or change the scaling option from display to gpu but at that point I would rather get another monitor like sony’s 480hz monitor. There’s reddit posts indicating other people have the same issue expected better than this from asus well 1k$ isn’t a small amount for a monitor.

End game monitor. Buttery smooth, brightness and color is fantastic. Have zero complaints.

Hell of an experience if you can cap 480 Hz. True blacks, vivid colors with almost 0 motion blur. The only other monitors that would compete with this one would be the dual mode but playing at 1080 P affect gameplay because it’s just too blurry. I will definitely recommend his monitor to anyone even if you don’t cap 480 Hz is still fast and you can tell. Even when I put it side-by-side versus an OLED 360 Hz monitor I can see the motion blur on the 360hz but not on the 480hz.

Best monitor I ever used. I returned the 32 Asus Oled UCDM variant and got this one and it’s way better. 32’ was so big and this 27’ inch is perfect and it’s HDMI 2.1 so with my Xbox series X I can run 4K 120hz with no issues. This is prob end game monitor for both console and PC. 10/10 rating if I could! Definitely recommend! 🔥🔥🔥🔥

I got this monitor and thought it couldn’t be that much better than my 750 dollar asus rog 1440p 240hz LED monitor, but man was I wrong. This thing is the pinnacle of gaming monitors in every way. Super fast super nice looking just overall blown away at how well this monitor looks and works. Tons of configurable options and well worth the price. Mouse latency is non existent with this monitor and you get zero ghosting. Pair this with a 4080 Super and I’m in gaming paradise.

This is a public service announcement. You don’t have the cables or ports to run this monitor at its full bit rate. It requires Display Port 2+ which is not currently supported by current (December 2024) Graphics Cards. You will see compression. You will enjoy this product, but you may have to wait to fully unlock its potential until such time that available hardware can support this bit rate. No, there isn’t an adapter or magic wishing spell. HDMI 2.1 is your best bet for the best outcome until then or run it at lower refresh rates and enjoy the quality of the display in the mean time.
