The one we received was broken, during set up it started making an awful grinding noise that sounded like it was coming from the scanner plate. It instructed to turn off then back on and if that did not resolve then get help from dealer or Canon. Amazon could only help with the order and Canon said they couldn’t give support for this model (is it discontinued?) We returned it and bought a different model from the local electronics big box store. It was a hassle to return/rebox and I was going to get a replacement until I realizes the replacement wouldn’t ship for a month or 2, and that Canon wasn’t going to support the model. Take your chances…
