To start, the DeLonghi Linea Classic Espresso Machine has a very clean and sleek design. It fits in well with most modern-day kitchen appliances. I love that the size of the espresso machine is not too large; it does not take up much counter space. One thing I did not like is the electric cord is quite short, meaning you have to place it close to an outlet or use an extension cord. This is definitely not a deal breaker, just something to be aware of when thinking about placement. This was my first time ever using an espresso machine myself, however, the instructions were very clear and concise. The instruction manual had a full display of each part and its name which was made it easy to match up the corresponding parts.
After reading the starting/operating instructions, I quickly was able to make my first espresso. There is virtually no assembly required. You simply conduct the cleaning process after adding water and then you’re ready to go. Honestly, this was one of the best espressos I have ever had. The quality and time in which this machine provided was extremely convenient and amazing. A feature which was convenient is the hot water dispenser which I can see my wife using to fill a cup of hot water for tea.
Overall, for the price the DeLonghi Linea Classic Espresso Machine is a steal. I look forward to my next cup in the morning! I would definitely recommend this machine to friends and family!

I have always been impressed with their quality of machines and this definitely lives up to the reputation they hold.
Unboxing this reinforced that this is high quality machine built to last. The materials are excellent. You get everything you need to make barista quality espresso in the comforts of your own home. Well you have to supply your own coffee of course. The user manual walked me through all the steps to prepare the machine, from cleaning and descaling to how to make espresso. Well done on the manual.
I really like the size of the unit. Many of these can be quite large and take up a lot of counter space. This is pretty compact and looks nice on my counter.
Getting started you will press the power button and need to wait for it to stop blinking. When it is solid then the unit is ready to go. Next I pressed the 1 cup button and I had the 1 cup espresso filter installed. The water reservoir in the back is easy to access and keep full and clean as needed.

My morning commute usually includes pitstops at either a local fast-food joint or coffee shop to grab a frappe or other iced coffee for that morning pick-me-up on the way to the office. However, now that I’ve received my new espresso machine, those days are about to be a thing of the past. Before getting started, I must say that I was very impressed with the look and sleek design of this espresso machine. It blends in well with my kitchen and fits nicely with other appliances on my countertop.

* User Manual & Registration DocumentationNow getting started, this machine can look a little daunting to those that have not used an espresso machine before, however, if you follow along with the user manual guide, you will be making your hot/cold drinks in no time. Simply add your water to the water reservoir tank on the top. Tightly pack your espresso into the 1 cup or 2 cup stainless steel filter. Pop it into the portafilter and attach the portafilter. The bottom tray is removable to clean up slips or for using a larger cup/mug. Power button is on the top right of the front. Also on the front is the choice between 1 cup or 2 cups of espresso, and also the steam button. The right side of the machine is the hot water steam dial.
This machine may be small in size but so far it has handled anything I have thrown at it. My goto choice is an Iced Caramel Macchiato. Being someone that has never really used an espresso machine before, I found this espresso machine fairly easy to use. And it’s great for those of us with limited counter space or top cabinets that sit somewhat low.

I usually get the normal house brew but I do like a good espresso every now and then. With this latest addition to my kitchen, I can have it anytime now without incurring such large expenses.
I was a bit hesitant about using this seeing as I normally don’t operate a machine like this. But, having watched baristas make these for so long now, it was pretty intuitive on how to use this machine properly. I’m no expert but I’m getting there (hopefully). Once you’ve learned how to operate the machine properly then it pretty much becomes a no-brainer after that.The knobs and buttons on this are pretty straightforward so there’s not really much to mess up thanfully.
That said, the coffee I’m getting out of this thing is great. I’m just using my normal coffee for now however I’ll definitely look into getting different brands and such down the road. I haven’t quite mastered the creamer pouring bit but am slowly getting there.
If you’re the type that REALLY likes their coffee and spends oodles of money each month buying them, it’d probably be a great idea to pick one of these up and save some money.

Perfect addition for your coffee bar

When I saw this machine I thought it would be nice to add a expresso machine to my coffee bar area. First off the Delonghi Linea expresso machine looks great on the shelf and is compact enough to fit next to my keurig machine. Since I am new to using this type of coffee maker I was glad the instructions were clear and easy to follow. After washing the unit out the set up was fairly simple. After filling up the water tank(which is located in the back of the unit) I spooned the grounds in the Porta filter and used the scoop/tamper to flatten the grounds down. There are 2 different size cup filters to chose from. You just need to decide if you want 1 shot or 2. After pressing the button in a few minutes your drink will be ready. It was fast and efficient. It came out hot and strong flavored. I also used the frother and it worked well for both almond and coconut milk. It warmed it up more than luke warm but not too hot. I think this is a great machine for anyone either new to expresso making or someone who already enjoys it every day. Once you get it you won’t really need to go to those fancy coffee shops anymore as you can have better fresher tasting coffee in the comfort of your own home.

Better Than My Breville – Incredible Crema!

The crema extraction is huge, making every shot feel like something from a high-end café. I also love that the single and double-shot brews are predetermined—with my Breville, I had to manually estimate when to stop the shot, which wasn’t always consistent.
The only real downside is the aluminum coffee cup holder. My magnetic dosing funnel won’t stay in place, which makes using my WDT tool a bit messier. No big deal—I’m already looking for a stainless steel bottomless cup holder that’s compatible with this model.
Overall, for the price and quality, this machine is a fantastic choice. If you want great espresso with minimal guesswork, this is the one to get

A great cup of espresso without waiting in line
Steve B. February 23, 2025Review source: AmazonNice compact size for a crowded countertop. Works exactly as expected and the results are as good as the coffee shop. Beats waiting in line. The tamper is a cheap plastic, so you’ll likely want to watch for a better quality tamper, but the provided one works fine, just not sure how long it will last. It’s quiet enough, but does make some noise (especially the frother), so it might be a little loud if people are sleeping nearby. It does NOT come with espresso cups or a frothing pitcher, so you’ll need those as well. A regular coffee cup doesn’t fit under the spout (by design). For a home espresso machine, it’s a very nice little unit, but you will need the accessories if you don’t have them already.

Easy to use
Tm February 21, 2025Review source: AmazonMy old espresso machine was on it’s way out and I did not want to spend too much money on a new one. This one was decent on price so I purchased it as a replacement. I like that the machine is shorter than my last one so that it fits under my cabinet area comfortably…allowing me to pull it out and push it back in easily.
The machine is easy to use. It comes with two basket for a single or double espresso. It also comes with a scooper. The basket for the coffee fits into the holder snugly. The one thing I didn’t like about this one was that the coffee basket was very snug in the holder that I have to use my nail to pry it out. Also, my last holder had a flap that I can flip over to keep the basket in place while I dumped the coffee grounds out. This one does not have it. But as I mentioned, it fits snugly so that the basket does not fall out even when I dumped the used coffee out.
The milk frother was also easy to use. Once the machine is on, I can click the frother button and turn the knob for it to start. I have to wait a little bit in order to use the frother since it does not always start right away. This is the reason for it losing one star.

Stoney February 19, 2025Review source: AmazonI need to preface this review with the fact that I’m a complete beginner when it comes to espresso. I’ve had espressos a few times over the years and loved them, but I’ve never owned an espresso machine before.
I really like the styling of the machine – it looks very attractive on the counter. It’s also quite compact, and sits nicely next to our Keurig.
Setup is easy, and the instructions are very clear. I had the machine prepped and my first two espressos completed in just a couple of minutes! The brew was amazing.
I am 100% pleased with this machine so far, and recommend it!
