The expresso takes just like starbucks.
The only think i didn’t like about the machine is the portafilter. Sometimes it feels like i cant fully lock it, so i have to remove coffee to lock it.

1. It leaks. After the espresso is brewed and dispensed in the cup, 5 min later, the machine dumps several tablespoons of hot water into the drip pan leaving a mess to clean up.
2. Inconsistent amount of espresso dispensed.
3. Examination of coffee grounds after the brew shows wetness only around the sides of the ground coffee. Dry in the middle. Means it’s not properly working. -

I realized that going with a reliable brand really makes a huge difference, and this De’Longhi machine proved that.
The interface is simple and beginner-friendly, so it’s very easy to get the hang of. The adjustable steam wand is also incredibly convenient. After frothing milk, I can twist it off and clean the inside directly—it feels much easier and more hygienic than traditional steam wands.
The portafilter fits perfectly with all my 51 mm accessories I purchased earlier, which was a big relief. My previous non-brand espresso machine had a water tank that constantly leaked, but the De’Longhi’s water tank is completely leak-free, so I can use it with confidence.
I make two cups of coffee every morning back-to-back, and the machine handles it without overheating.
Overall, it’s an excellent entry-level espresso maker—reliable, easy to use, and a huge upgrade from cheaper alternatives.
