Great photo prints
The printer I had before was decent, I had an HP that I would print photos on, but this Epson printer is phenomenal! The color is richer and pictures that didn’t come out as well before really pop and show more color depth. I was hesitant about 10 inks but it adds to the quality of the prints. I went with the p700 instead of the p900 for the lower price.

Epson is scamming customers
After spending $1000.00 on this new printer and another $350.00 for installation, I was appalled to discover that the ink cartridges were only a quarter full. I brought this to B & H’s attention along with photo documenting same and they contacted Epson. It seems that Epson purposely does NOY sell their printers with full ink cartridges. They claim that this is a starter package. My complaints to Epson rang on deaf ears and they refused to make good on supplying me with full cartridges. I heard that Canon Printers DO come with full cartridges. Take note photographers. I am one very unhappy customer

Pros and cons...
I had an Epson P800 that still would be around today if it weren’t for getting banged up during a couple of moves, I made.
I went with the P700 this time around and so far, I love it!
Pros
Size, works for what I need it to do
Prints way faster than the P800
Custom size borderless prints, this is the only brand that has this feature last time I checked
Cons
The shiny material on the top that is a dust and pet hair magnet, come on now Epson
Cost of ink
When printing user-defined, the print preview is reversed it can be changed, no biggie
As far as price is concerned, depending on what you’re using it for, if you can get a rebate, it’s pretty reasonable considering what regular run of the mill printers run nowadays. Suits my needs.

user defined
I have had the printer now for a couple of weeks. I love it! The color is perfection. What I see on my screen is being reproduced by the printer. I have been putting it through a few tests: various paper sizes, various papers, settings etc..here it comes the one complaint I have with the machine, it gets all temperamental when I try to print with a user defined paper size. First it goes to roll paper as there is not a way to define the source in user defined paper size. Second it messes with the image size perceiving the image as larger than it is. I am able to get it to print 6 x 6 with much finessing, I wish that were not the case. I am a digital artist and odd paper sizes are things that I need to print. I am keeping the printer as …

Exceptional Print Quality, Easy Set-Up
Exceptional Print Quality, Easy Set-Up – but a bummer that it comes with very little ink. Epson’s I’ve had in the past have printed perfectly until they ran out of ink. This way you didn’t waste paper. This one will keep printing with color defects when the ink gets low, which wastes expensive paper.

Great Printing Quality
We are so impressed with the quality of the print! Great printer, not too big either for our little office.

Failed after just over a year
I bought this (very expensive) printer for my greeting card business just over a year ago. The initial cost was over $800. Additionally, keep in mind that the ink is VERY expensive too (over $400 for the full set of 10 cartridges).
It prints beautifully, the colors are very sharp, I loved it (note the past tense).
HOWEVER – it started failing me about a week ago. My greeting cards start printing just fine, but the paper gets stuck in the middle of the printer for the last inch that needs to be printed, causing the design to be smudged. I just spent one hour on the phone with Epson Support, to finally hear that my printer has a hardware problem and needs to be replaced. And this happens JUST when the warranty window has expired, by 2 weeks.
Considering the investment that this printer was for me, and its EXTREMELY short lifetime, I would NOT recommend this product to anyone (which is a shame, because as mentioned before, it printed beautifully).

Not worth the money, eats ink, doesn't take card stock
First, it eats ink like crazy, and the ink per ml is ridiculously expensive compared to other models like the P5370. .500% more expensive. I haven’t even finished putting in my first set of ink after the starter cartridges and it’s already gone through two maintenance boxes. It doesn’t like card stock, and it’s constantly saying there is no paper when there is paper. This thing is an expensive paper weight. The ink is far too expensive to even use. What a colossal waste of money. It also forces you to dismiss the message “ink is low, you should replace ink cartridges” when there is still a lot of ink in the cartridges. So every single print requires you to dismiss a nag message when there is still no need to replace the ink, which you can see by looking at the ink levels on the LCD panel.
The printer absolutely cannot handle thick media. Even the thinnest of thick media, like card stock, causes the P700 to stop printing. We got this just to do cards and certificates of authority for a small print shop, and it is failing miserably.

Great Printer
My last Epson printer was the R3000. It was fine, but I kept it too long without understanding that it would have required serious attention by some printer maintenance outfit at some point in time–i.e., while replacement parts were still available. So I upgraded to the SC-P700. I’m pleased with this printer; it is far better than the R3000 in every aspect. It makes the R3000 look positively ancient. Setup is easier than I imagined it would be (assuming you are connected to the Internet); it’s user-friendly. The control panel is easy to use too. Overall, the design of this printer is compact and sort of neat.

Quality Control a joke
Printer did not work straight out the box. According to Epson, needs a ‘main board assembly!’ This should not have even gotten to packaging, let alone shipped. Also the warranty expired on 3/25/2022. This is the third party seller’s fault. Note to self: email third party sellers about warranties.

Printer is Grey Market
When I tried to register my printer for use and warranty coverage the Epson website indicated that this printer was for use in Latin America. Thus no warranty coverage.
I am sorry I bought this as was grey market. Nowhere was it said that this was a grey market product. I am very thankful that Amazon stood behind the sale. Thank you Amazon.

Working good so far
This is my second of this model. The first one lasted 18 months when the paper feed mechanism stopped working. So far this printer works flawlessly on Luster paper, Velvet Fine Art, and Exhibition Fiber.

Nice product but I received a 'grey market' version and had to return it.
Nice product whoever, …
I’m here in the US I received an Epson P700 printer that has a serial number corresponding to a product for the Latin American market. This fits the definition of a ‘grey market’ product where the warranty is invalid in the US and it does not qualify for Epson rebates. I’m extremely disappointed with this transaction and I’m still waiting for a refund so I can order a replacement.
Update: Received a replacement, verified serial numbers, received rebate, initialized and printed first prints. I’m thrilled with the results!

Really satisfied
Set up and print quality are a definite upgrade from my R 7000. A smaller footprint and lighter weight makes it easy to move when needed. The only issue I’ve run into is with the Wi-Fi connection even though it works with current software Lightroom five software does not allow a connection For some reason. I will be going with an ethernet connection in a few days to remedy my issue. I’m very happy with the size of the cartridges compared to the R 7000 sensor just a few dollars more there seems to be a lot more in involved and I’m hoping That they will last longer.

Great printer but expensive ink
Really nice, fast printer. The quality of the prints I have done of my watercolor paintings are really nice. Be advised that the instructions do say that the ink included is specifically to purge and fill the lines so you should order additional cartridges when you order it.
