Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Exceptional Picture Quality: The Mini-LED and QLED technology receives high praise for delivering vibrant colors, deep blacks, and impressive brightness that remains clear even in rooms with significant natural light.
  • Advanced Gaming Features: Reviewers highlight the native 144Hz refresh rate, VRR, and Game Mode Ultra as standout features that provide a smooth, responsive, and lag-free experience for PS5 and Xbox Series X users.
  • Outstanding Value for Money: The TV is frequently described as 'punching above its weight class,' offering premium display and gaming specifications at a much lower price point than major competitors.

Cons

  • Sluggish and Buggy Operating System: The Fire TV interface is widely criticized for being slow, laggy, and prone to crashing, with some users reporting that it becomes increasingly unresponsive over time.
  • Frequent Software and Display Glitches: Multiple users reported technical issues including screen flickering, green-tinted displays, and the system freezing, often requiring a full power cycle to resolve.
  • Inconsistent Audio and Remote Design: While some find the sound adequate, many complain about subpar internal speakers and a basic remote that lacks a backlight and number buttons, making it difficult to use in dark rooms.

Customer Fit

  • Primary audience: Home-theater enthusiasts who want an immersive, cinema-like picture without OLED pricing.
  • Secondary audience: Gamers and sports fans seeking high refresh rates, strong HDR brightness, and minimal motion blur.
  • Ideal scenarios: Ideal for living rooms, game setups, or bright family spaces needing wide-angle visibility and integrated streaming.

  2. Slow as molasses, freezes & stutters constantly!

Great picture, but extremely slow to do anything, including the Fire menus. Also every streaming service constantly stutters and freezes up. All other TVs using external FireSticks and further from WiFi work perfectly, and this TV doesn’t even though the speed test is great, 150-200 Mbps! It’s obviously the TV! Then when trying to exchange it, hoping this is just one bad unit, Amazon screws me by transferring me 8 times, then after promising exchange, suddenly only offers refund… but current price is $75 higher so I definitely am not buying this one again to try! Total hassle, crap product, crap service from Amazon!

Wrong dimensions listed on Amazon for 75 inch version. Description says 56.7 inches wide, but actually 66 inches wide. Does not fit in the space I bought it for.

  4. Really good TV for the price and the features.

The 75 inch TV is in a small living room that doesn’t get too bright which makes this TV perfect to watch during the day. It is plenty bright enough. It also has the 144hz refresh rate for what I use it for as a couch gaming TV using my PC. The blacks ok the TV look good for the price point. I wasn’t expecting OLED levels but at this price, it’s a worth it buy.

So obviously it’s not a o-led but it’s pretty close I honestly wouldn’t even be able to tell a difference is it was side by side has great connectability I personally prefer the Apple TV interface over the fire stick, but it’s great. Is the TV remote that comes with the TV works for the fire stick very easy to set up and packaged very well.

  10. Looks Good When Directly In Front of It.

    Review source: Amazon

Picture quality very good, when sitting directly in front. Off-axis color is completely washed out, even worse than the Hisense ultra short-throw projector (100″) that this replaced due to pixelation after 2.5 years. As a monitor, it works well. I haven’t tried to use the monitor’s operating system, other than settings. I paired this with a mount (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0F9KZY7TF?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title), which was easy to setup and worked well with this TV.

Glad I purchased this, after using it? It is acceptable. I will keep it. Would I have added a thousand to this budget, researched some more, and bought a higher quality unit? Yes, after seeing the off-axis color fade-out.

TV is packaged well and arrived without damage. Is heavy (120#) like most TVs in this size. Definitely a two-person job to mount safely. Also of note, and I have not called Hisense Support on this unit, but I did have to work with Hisense Support on my last unit. I was never able to reach a human being there after many attempts, and the automated responses didn’t remotely help me. Maybe that was the intent, because I did end up replacing the projector.

This is the second purchase from Hisense, and even after indicating that I will be keeping this unit (it does look good when seated directly in front of it), the off-axis performance and the horrible experience with Support will make this my last purchase from Hisense, at least for the foreseeable future. I own other panels in the 55″ and 65″ range from Samsung and Sony that are many years old, still working well, and look much better. Anything from them in the 100″ range doubles and triples the price, and there may be a good reason for that.
