144Hz Game Mode Pro The larger 75", 85", and 100" models support a native 144Hz refresh rate with Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) for a smooth, lag-free gaming experience on next-gen consoles.
Fire TV Smart Experience Powered by the Fire TV interface, providing seamless access to popular streaming apps and live TV on one home screen, with Alexa built-in for convenient voice control.

Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Exceptional Picture Quality: The Mini-LED and QLED technology receives high praise for delivering vibrant colors, deep blacks, and impressive brightness that remains clear even in rooms with significant natural light.
  • Advanced Gaming Features: Reviewers highlight the native 144Hz refresh rate, VRR, and Game Mode Ultra as standout features that provide a smooth, responsive, and lag-free experience for PS5 and Xbox Series X users.
  • Outstanding Value for Money: The TV is frequently described as 'punching above its weight class,' offering premium display and gaming specifications at a much lower price point than major competitors.

Cons

  • Sluggish and Buggy Operating System: The Fire TV interface is widely criticized for being slow, laggy, and prone to crashing, with some users reporting that it becomes increasingly unresponsive over time.
  • Frequent Software and Display Glitches: Multiple users reported technical issues including screen flickering, green-tinted displays, and the system freezing, often requiring a full power cycle to resolve.
  • Inconsistent Audio and Remote Design: While some find the sound adequate, many complain about subpar internal speakers and a basic remote that lacks a backlight and number buttons, making it difficult to use in dark rooms.

Customer Fit

  • Primary audience: Home-theater enthusiasts who want an immersive, cinema-like picture without OLED pricing.
  • Secondary audience: Gamers and sports fans seeking high refresh rates, strong HDR brightness, and minimal motion blur.
  • Ideal scenarios: Ideal for living rooms, game setups, or bright family spaces needing wide-angle visibility and integrated streaming.

I absolutely love my 100” Hisense QD7 TV! The picture quality is phenomenal; the colors are incredibly bright, vibrant, and well-balanced thanks to its technology. The size alone is immersive, but combined with the sharp clarity, deep contrast, and smooth motion, it truly feels like a home theater experience. Everything from movies to sports looks amazing. This was an excellent purchase, and I couldn’t be more satisfied. Highly recommended!
Plus the Best Buy Geek Squad delivered and installed it, and they did an awesome job—fast, professional, and hassle-free.

  8. Okay for movies. Not great for games.

    Pros: Inexpensive and huge.

    Cons: Where do I begin?

Speakers connected through the audio jack constantly “pop” when the power is off. If the TV is directly connected to my PC while the power is off, the pops coincide with an event that causes my primary monitor to black out. The only way around it is to use an HDMI splitter that copies the EDID.

Gaming: The ghosting on this set is so bad that I need to call Peter Venkman. Getting decent black levels means smearing in video games, even in in the “game” display mode. Forget using full dynamic range or HDR, because the blacks always have to be bumped up.

If I could get my 2013 Phillips HDTV in this size and resolution, everything would be great. But they just don’t make affordable sets like they used to. I might save up for an LG and punt this one off on Craigslist.
