Pros & Cons
Pros
- Exceptional Picture Quality: The Mini-LED and QLED technology receives high praise for delivering vibrant colors, deep blacks, and impressive brightness that remains clear even in rooms with significant natural light.
- Advanced Gaming Features: Reviewers highlight the native 144Hz refresh rate, VRR, and Game Mode Ultra as standout features that provide a smooth, responsive, and lag-free experience for PS5 and Xbox Series X users.
- Outstanding Value for Money: The TV is frequently described as 'punching above its weight class,' offering premium display and gaming specifications at a much lower price point than major competitors.
Cons
- Sluggish and Buggy Operating System: The Fire TV interface is widely criticized for being slow, laggy, and prone to crashing, with some users reporting that it becomes increasingly unresponsive over time.
- Frequent Software and Display Glitches: Multiple users reported technical issues including screen flickering, green-tinted displays, and the system freezing, often requiring a full power cycle to resolve.
- Inconsistent Audio and Remote Design: While some find the sound adequate, many complain about subpar internal speakers and a basic remote that lacks a backlight and number buttons, making it difficult to use in dark rooms.
Customer Fit
- Primary audience: Home-theater enthusiasts who want an immersive, cinema-like picture without OLED pricing.
- Secondary audience: Gamers and sports fans seeking high refresh rates, strong HDR brightness, and minimal motion blur.
- Ideal scenarios: Ideal for living rooms, game setups, or bright family spaces needing wide-angle visibility and integrated streaming.

FireOS kills what could be a good device with ads and lack of IR control
Verified purchase Verified purchase: This reviewer bought the product.T. Whiting December 21, 2025Review source: AmazonThis product is so loaded down with issues it’s not funny. NOT so amusingly, it has everything to do with the FireTV OS, which is an utter disaster
– ZERO possibility of replacing the remote with a universal remote. Yup, you’re stuck with this pathetic piece of trash, because of the horrible BT interface which literally shuts off if the TV is idle, meaning, of course, you cannot use a 3rd party remote. This REALLY matters if you have something like xbox, playstation, apple TV, soundbar
– ZERO direct input control. Scroll, scroll, scroll baby
– Ads EVERYWHERE. Top bottom, everything. You’re PAYING to receive ‘ads’ for Amazon products, Amazon advertisers. Let that sink in. These ads even take over your TV, and not in a good way
– NO remote power control. Turn it off? You need to use ‘voice’ control. Another hinderance to #1
Picture wise, it’s pretty good. Sound wise, it’s trash, but I have a soundbar, so… Weight? The thing is a monster. It’ll take you at least two people to mount this thing.
