- Advanced Gaming Features: Reviewers highlight the native 144Hz refresh rate, VRR, and Game Mode Ultra as standout features that provide a smooth, responsive, and lag-free experience for PS5 and Xbox Series X users.
- Outstanding Value for Money: The TV is frequently described as 'punching above its weight class,' offering premium display and gaming specifications at a much lower price point than major competitors.
Cons
- Sluggish and Buggy Operating System: The Fire TV interface is widely criticized for being slow, laggy, and prone to crashing, with some users reporting that it becomes increasingly unresponsive over time.
- Frequent Software and Display Glitches: Multiple users reported technical issues including screen flickering, green-tinted displays, and the system freezing, often requiring a full power cycle to resolve.
- Inconsistent Audio and Remote Design: While some find the sound adequate, many complain about subpar internal speakers and a basic remote that lacks a backlight and number buttons, making it difficult to use in dark rooms.

Constant Issues
Verified purchase Verified purchase: This reviewer bought the product.TB November 11, 2025Review source: AmazonTV looks good when it works, unfortunately that is rare. Auto brightness correction won’t do what you tell it to. TV freezes all the time and takes 5 minutes or more to start up and get into the apps. TV volume won’t change with remote and then all of a sudden jumps up by 20 numbers. Turn TV off and the audio keeps playing for another minute or so before finally stopping.
Should have bought the Samsung or LG instead.

Best RGB color for Budget Mini-LED
Verified purchase Verified purchase: This reviewer bought the product.GP! November 11, 2025Review source: AmazonBought the budget TCL mini-led QM5K 50 inch and everything about it was perfect (Google TV) but the color was a little off and not sure if that is a one-off issue, or if all 5K’s are like that. Very impressive with vibrant colors and smooth clear images, but it didn’t have a wide range in the yellow and orange colors. It was a little limited even after trying all sorts of color calibrations and adjustments. Bought this TV and it does have smooth play issues (stuttering) at the beginning of Prime Video. After about a minute, it is okay. Tried both Ethernet and WIFI and it didn’t matter. Haven’t tried my fire or Roku stick yet, but I might. If this Hisense had Google TV, I would have bought two, no question. I don’t like Fire much. As for the color, I use the “Custom” setting for Picture Mode and the color is EXACTLY the way I like it. It’s so good, I didn’t even check the other settings. I use the same exact numbers for HLG, HDR10, and “standard video (like youtube) and live TV”. Having “Skin Tone Control” really helps add more color without over-saturation. I didn’t see that on my TCL. Not sure if the AI chip learns the signal format, but it does seem to improve the more I use it. Not a lot, but it does seem smoother and clearer now than out of the box. Another win for this TV over the 5K is I have it hooked up to a Vizio sound bar. On this TV, when you adjust the volume, it gives a number value (10,12,14) but the TCL just shows + or -. I like to see the number volume value. Since Fire isn’t intuitive for setting, you have to disconnect the eARC HDMI cable, THEN adjust your bass/treble, then plug it back in. (huh?) to add depth to the sound bar. Hisense does need to tweak this model a little bit, and if they do, it will be very much a value win as a mini-led at this price point and is very much worth it. I almost went with a QLED, but glad I spent the extra $100 or so for mini-led.

Verified purchase Verified purchase: This reviewer bought the product.Pepe November 9, 2025Review source: AmazonNever buy this brand….
Got mine In July 2025 now is November 2025 already have dead pixels. I have 3 TVs at home a 8 years old another one 7 years old none of them have any dead pixels. The first TV I bought 20 some years ago still doesn’t have any dead pixels….
warranty card clearly states that dead pixels are not grounds for a warranty repair or replacement.
