- Outstanding Value for Money: The TV is frequently described as 'punching above its weight class,' offering premium display and gaming specifications at a much lower price point than major competitors.
Cons
- Sluggish and Buggy Operating System: The Fire TV interface is widely criticized for being slow, laggy, and prone to crashing, with some users reporting that it becomes increasingly unresponsive over time.
- Frequent Software and Display Glitches: Multiple users reported technical issues including screen flickering, green-tinted displays, and the system freezing, often requiring a full power cycle to resolve.
- Inconsistent Audio and Remote Design: While some find the sound adequate, many complain about subpar internal speakers and a basic remote that lacks a backlight and number buttons, making it difficult to use in dark rooms.

If you’re thinking about it, don’t
Verified purchase Verified purchase: This reviewer bought the product.adam January 17, 2026Review source: AmazonIt produces a nice picture as far as color/contrast is concerned. That’s about it. Good for just watching tv shows. Refresh rate can’t keep up with action scenes in movies. Fire tv app runs slow and always crashes. Even if this tv is on deep discount, save yourself the embarrassment of buying this TV and upgrade to at least 120hz. I would give it a 1 star but the thing at least turned on had the ability to play movies in some capacity. 👎

too complex
Verified purchase Verified purchase: This reviewer bought the product.JenniferM January 16, 2026Review source: BestbuyIt’s a decent TV. The complaint is the complexity of figuring out the remotes. Bought this for my 90 year old father and it’s proved impossible. Can’t return it now so will have to figure out another solution. Read that Roku better option.

75" Hisense Fire TV
Verified purchase Verified purchase: This reviewer bought the product.BruceB January 16, 2026Review source: BestbuyMy only problem was trying to have the Xfinity Remote control the entire operations of the TV, It took me over 2 weeks to work on this. Called Hisense only to find that they only offer Hardware solutions. I was told to call Amazon, they tried multiple times to get the correct code to work with no avail either, siting that the TV was too new and was not accessed by Xfinity. I then searched on line, found that if you go under Hisense Fire TV that you are able to connect the Xfinity to the TV, Sound system and all functions. It will bring it to the default of Xfinity once paired, but takes a bit when you first turn it on. Note: The Xfinity remote is working even though the controller is shows Red.
