- Advanced Gaming Features: Reviewers highlight the native 144Hz refresh rate, VRR, and Game Mode Ultra as standout features that provide a smooth, responsive, and lag-free experience for PS5 and Xbox Series X users.
- Outstanding Value for Money: The TV is frequently described as 'punching above its weight class,' offering premium display and gaming specifications at a much lower price point than major competitors.
Cons
- Sluggish and Buggy Operating System: The Fire TV interface is widely criticized for being slow, laggy, and prone to crashing, with some users reporting that it becomes increasingly unresponsive over time.
- Frequent Software and Display Glitches: Multiple users reported technical issues including screen flickering, green-tinted displays, and the system freezing, often requiring a full power cycle to resolve.
- Inconsistent Audio and Remote Design: While some find the sound adequate, many complain about subpar internal speakers and a basic remote that lacks a backlight and number buttons, making it difficult to use in dark rooms.

Good TV for the price but doesn’t really compare favorably to an 8 year old Bravia
Verified purchase Verified purchase: This reviewer bought the product.Bhagirathi July 14, 2025Review source: AmazonGiven the price point, this is a decent TV. I guess I just thought since I hadn’t bought a new one in 8 years the picture would somehow blow me away. My 8 year old Sony Bravia is still in a storage unit waiting to be shipped so I got this on Prime Day. Perhaps I need to play with the settings more, but thus far I prefer the picture on my old Bravia.
I first tried it with the native Fire TV settings, then with an older 4k Roku stick, then finally I dug the Apple TV out of moving boxes. I have to say the picture was markedly better even with the Roku stick. Of course much better once streaming through the Apple TV device. It’s perfectly fine, but I’m currently watching a 4k movie I’ve seen before on my old TV and the picture and colors simply aren’t as good. I have it in “filmmaker” mode for the picture, so perhaps I just need to play around with it more. Don’t get me wrong—for the price point it’s a great TV. I suppose I thought the QLED would make more of a difference, and that tech would have advanced a little more in 8 years. This is a much less expensive machine than a Sony Bravia, so that adage is true—you get what you pay for. And for $350? It’s an outstanding TV. But for a better picture, use a higher end streaming device.

Please remember to…..
Verified purchase Verified purchase: This reviewer bought the product.Craig B. July 13, 2025Review source: AmazonExcellent. You’ll need a wall bracket that is at least 26 inches wide where it connects to the back of the TV. It takes two people to handle as well. Great picture and it works with a digital antenna! The built in speakers are nice and clear. Good range of sound settings. Enjoy!

Amazing picture, lots of hdmi ports and even an oldschool headphone jack, super easy to mirror a screen from a phone or a laptop and hook up a dvd player. Didn’t even have to do the wifi set up.
The speakers sound pretty good too. -
Good value, but started acting up after about 10 weeks.

July 13, 2025Review source: AmazonGreat price, good value, but… Started to develop jittery picture within less than 3 months. Technical support advised to unplug and reset, but problem came back within 3 days. I’m trying one more time and if it happens again I will seek return or replacement. I will update review based on what happens next.
