Especially when trying to use other apps like paramount plus. Perhaps it’s the apps fault, but it was never like this with my older tv (that used a Roku interface). If I try to watch a movie in 4k, it often pauses, despite my very good internet connection (it even does it when plugged in directly with an Ethernet cable—actually, it was worse when I did that).
Just last night I was trying to watch streaming channels, but the screen suddenly went black and I had to try over and over again to get it to work, which made me miss the program I was trying to watch in the first place (actually it was a music video).
I don’t know, I think I’m kind of regretting buying this tv. I used a fire stick sometimes before this, and it was always fast and smooth. I guess I thought a fire tv would be the same. I should’ve stuck with Roku.

Picture quality is great, the FireTV home screen is easy to navigate, and refresh rate kicks the pants off of other TVs in this range. 4 stars just because you really have to work the settings to get the picture right. We spent a day or so fiddling with it, but if you can deal with that, I’d definitely recommend this TV. Just can’t beat it for the price.
