Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Exceptional Picture Quality: The Mini-LED and QLED technology receives high praise for delivering vibrant colors, deep blacks, and impressive brightness that remains clear even in rooms with significant natural light.
  • Advanced Gaming Features: Reviewers highlight the native 144Hz refresh rate, VRR, and Game Mode Ultra as standout features that provide a smooth, responsive, and lag-free experience for PS5 and Xbox Series X users.
  • Outstanding Value for Money: The TV is frequently described as 'punching above its weight class,' offering premium display and gaming specifications at a much lower price point than major competitors.

Cons

  • Sluggish and Buggy Operating System: The Fire TV interface is widely criticized for being slow, laggy, and prone to crashing, with some users reporting that it becomes increasingly unresponsive over time.
  • Frequent Software and Display Glitches: Multiple users reported technical issues including screen flickering, green-tinted displays, and the system freezing, often requiring a full power cycle to resolve.
  • Inconsistent Audio and Remote Design: While some find the sound adequate, many complain about subpar internal speakers and a basic remote that lacks a backlight and number buttons, making it difficult to use in dark rooms.

Customer Fit

  • Primary audience: Home-theater enthusiasts who want an immersive, cinema-like picture without OLED pricing.
  • Secondary audience: Gamers and sports fans seeking high refresh rates, strong HDR brightness, and minimal motion blur.
  • Ideal scenarios: Ideal for living rooms, game setups, or bright family spaces needing wide-angle visibility and integrated streaming.

Great TV, worth every penny. It does however get a bit glitchy while watching sports. The TV is a lot bigger than you think it my be.

I have the old hisense qd7 in my bedroom and it has a game bar. I purchased this new 2025 qd7 mini led and youd think it still comes with a gamebar but NO it doesnt. How do you make a new tv version which should be better then the last but you leave out certain stuff. Tv picture quality is amazing just wish it came with all features the old gen came with

So angry. Mounted TV, only to realize after that the power cable and remote were missing. Used a cable from another TV and turned it on to find it was actually completely broken. We have a replacement coming but this is crazy – I have zero faith replacement will be any better. Also, now I have to lug a 50inch TV to UPS to return this one.

This TV is a clear step up from last year’s QD7 model. Although it maintains some great features like HDR 10+, Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, the new panel is Mini LED and the backlighting now features FALD (Full Aray Local Dimming) technology unlike last year’s regular LED, direct lit panel. This 2025 model also features improved motion enhancement technology.

The result is gorgeous picture quality with fantastic color accuracy and incredibly good black levels and contrast. Seriously, this TV rivals some (especially older) OLED panels in black levels.

I can’t speak for foot mounting as I put this on the wall immediately. At 85″ this TV is BIG and heavy so the carrying handles helped out greatly when mounting.

I got this to pair with my new Switch 2 and the gaming performance has been great on this TV. The Switch 2 Welcome Tour game that showcases 120Hz looked great.

I’m not an audiphiole by any means but the two 30 watt Dolby Atmos speakers sound great. My wife couldn’t believe that the sound was coming out of the TV… she was convinced I had my sound barhooked up. Needless to say the sound bar is finding a new home.

This TV is packed with great features that are unrivaled for the price (less than $1000) in my opinion. Highly recommended!

This TV is not my main watching TV but it could be! I got this to put in my home office for football season coming up, and it hasnt disappointed me. Great picture quality, fine speakers, and a pretty decent remote. I wish the home screen was more customisable, but it works flawlessly. Excited to watch all my NFL games in my home office.

I love the picture. The speakers are pretty good for the size. Looking to picture a 55′ or 65″ next.

Ordered this tv to replace my 11 year old Samsung 1080 55”. I did research on this price point and all reviews led to great things about this Hisense. I was so let down. Took hours to set up as the updates were taking so long. Had to reset the unit and restart all updates. It’s was a massive headache and I consider myself tech savvy too. The system is so laggy! You almost need to “warm up” the tv for about 7-10 min so that it doesn’t freeze trying to select an app. Once functioning, it’s beyond laggy. So much so I I purchased a Roku unit which was another $40 just to not want to throw this thing off a cliff. Picture quality is very dim. 4K really struggles with sports. I know this tv doesn’t cost a ton but really expected more. I plan on returning it.
