    Never worked straight out the box. Let me first start by saying I work in IT. I’m used to dealing with printer issues and it’s usually something simple, but nope, not this printer. I unpacked it this morning and can’t even get it to connect to my phone or laptop. Yes- all the usual stuff is confirmed; all devices are on the same wifi network, I’ve restarted the printer and apps (both phone and laptop) several times, printer says wifi signal is excellent, yada yada. No matter what I do, neither my phone nor laptop can find the printer. I’ve tried connecting over wifi and ip address. This is even more frustrating after spending 20 minutes just messing with the out-of-the-box provided ink cartridges because the hardware design is poor and they kept popping out no matter how hard I pushed them in. You really have to push in and do an up, down, wiggle around motion to get them to stay. There is no “snap.”

    Horrible overall experience. Except for your technician who installed the printer and Assistant Manager at Best Buy who
    set up second appointment to correct malfunctions, very
    disappointed in this whole ordeal. Fax machine does not work properly….printer has sporadic episodes where doesn’t print properly….”update” shows on screen but won’t allow me to perform updates…only way to unfreeze
    screen is to turn machine off and then on again. I have a
    true “lemon”….Please give me my “Brother” printer/fax/copier back!!!!! And, someone please come out and either replace this machine or correct the problems.

    This printer will not connect wirelessly. The firmware and software for this device are awful. I could not connect this device wirelessly to my network. I have over thirty items connected in my home, including cameras, music streamers, appliances, thermostats, garage openers, alarms. This is the only device I have had trouble with. I eventually gave up and connected through an ethernet cable. Also, I could not print envelopes or my bank checks. There is no customer support.
    HP software is horrible and customer support does not exist. Do not buy this!
