I replaced a $100.00 HP printer I bought on sale about 5 years ago and had over 12,000 prints from it and even when it was new it was never this loud . Very DISAPPOINTED in this one , and in the specs they won’t list the decibels and now I see why . I wouldn’t buy this printer unless the noise doesn’t bother you .

Intrusive Setup; Odd Error Messages
Paul Cassel March 22, 2024Review source: AmazonSetup was somewhat mysterious. It consists of a long expert tree where HP several times tries to sell the new owner on various supply subscriptions. Once finished, the printer did work but somehow it also worked as a network printer despite the setup never asking for our WiFi password or, for that matter, the network ID. Somehow the HP setup cracked our network and set itself up.
Some may view that as a convenience but I don’t since I see it as scary and intrusive. Like it or don’t, the setup routine, although long and full of sales pitches, did result in a working printer.
It’s been a month since setup with the printer in daily use both to print and also to scan. While operation has been unremarkable it keeps posting error messages that are scary but meaningless. That is, for no obvious reason, the printer will say it’s out of paper but then go ahead and print anyway. This or some other pointless error occurs regularly.
The quality of the print on typical copy paper is roughly comparable to the quality of our Canon color laser printer. The speed of printing is likewise close to the laser for normal documents.
Overall, the printer works even if, due to the error messages, it offers little confidence in itself while doing so.

Great Printer
Allis Mild March 21, 2024Review source: AmazonThis is a really great printer with many good features. I finally broke down and got a printer, and this one was really easy to set up and get working. I used it by wifi and it was easy to pair with my phone and computer. The printing is also fast and high quality. It also has copying and scanning functions too, which is very useful the few times a year I need to do that. No more trips to Kinkos. I’m very impressed with the functionality and quality.

Thrilling and Amazing Printing
Philip March 16, 2024Review source: AmazonThe HP OfficeJet Pro 9135e stands as a pinnacle of color thermal inkjet technology, encapsulating a multifunctional design with dual paper trays, fax, copier, scanner functionalities, and an introductory offer of three months’ worth of ink. This printer not only represents considerable savings but also delivers unparalleled print quality.
Its Wi-Fi printing feature is a game-changer, offering the convenience of connecting smartphones, laptops, and desktops wirelessly, eliminating the need for physical cables. My experimentation with this device, even using budget office copy paper, revealed its capability to produce vivid, high-resolution images. However, when paired with premium paper designed for ink absorption and showcasing truer whites, the HP OfficeJet Pro 9135e’s potential for generating even higher-quality photos and images is fully realized.
The speed at which this printer operates is impressive, particularly with full-page color prints, achieving excellent tones and shades without any noticeable imperfections such as banding or distortion. My experience has been nothing short of enjoyable, from the excitement of unboxing to the seamless setup process. Despite having to rearrange my workspace to accommodate this new addition, the effort was well worth it, especially when comparing its performance to my previous Brother Laser Black and White printer.
Every test page, whether for standard office documents, art projects, flyers, or birthday cards, came out with vibrant colors and sharp details, underlining the versatility and superior capabilities of this machine.
In conclusion, the HP OfficeJet Pro 9135e is a remarkable printer that excels in both speed and quality, suitable for a wide range of printing needs. Its user-friendly setup and robust feature set make it a joy to use for any project. I wholeheartedly recommend this printer as one of the best I’ve encountered in years, urging potential buyers to experience its exceptional performance for themselves.
