perfect size for a small family, beautiful color

I used this to cook quinoa and it came out perfectly and with ease. All I did was put everything inside, press one button and wa-la, perfectly cooked quinoa! No more messing with the stove and adding a lid or turning down the heat etc. This honestly made it so much easier. And there are so many different things that you can do with it which is great. Its a very versatile kitchen appliance. As for the size, its on the smaller side compared to my XXL instant pot but I really love it. I have a small family, really just my husband and I will eat the foods I make so this is a perfect size for us, especially when it comes to making a side dish like rice or something. It will definitely get used much more than my larger one. Truly very happy with it. It was easy to use, easy to clean since the bowl comes right out, and worked great.

I had just gotten a machine specifically for yogurt-making so when I was able to snag this, there was a moment of, oh, come on! All I need is milk and starter though, and yogurt here I come! This pot is heavy and durable and well made. It’s also digital! (Our other crock is not) I’m excited to read the manual to get started cooking in this instapot! Thanks Instant Pot/Amazon.

So far, I have used the steamer to cook broccoli, and I’ve also tried the sauté and pressure cook functions. The unit comes fully assembled and includes great instructions. The instructions recommend doing a test run with a few cups of water, which I found extremely helpful. It does nt come with a recipe book.
I absolutely love the pink color, and since it’s just my husband and me now, the regular large Instant Pot is too big. I’m a vegetarian, but my husband isn’t. With meat prices being so high, he’s been eating more beans. Cooking dried beans and legumes usually takes a long time, but not with this Instant Pot! I cooked large scarlet runner beans from dry, and it only took about 45 minutes! This normally takes hours of soaking and simmering. For this reason alone, this Instant Pot is a great value.
It’s easy to clean; I just put the pot in the dishwasher. It also makes rice and yogurt, though I’m not sure if I will try those functions. This Instant Pot is so easy to use, it’s adorable, and I love it!

An amazing multi-purpose appliance!

When I inherited those, my wife was afraid of them and didn’t want me to use them. Along comes the Instant Pot 4QT RIO Mini 7-in-1 Multi-Cooker, a modern version of the old-fashioned pressure cooker that would even make my wife comfortable. But it only starts there. It is also a slow cooker, steamer, yogurt maker, and more!
One look at the control panel, the stainless steel insides, or the comprehensive owner’s manual, and you know this is a quality appliance. Unlike typical foreign knock-off products, this appliance is clearly designed to demanding standards in the United States, with only the manufacturing itself outsourced to China.
The control panel is highly intuitive, and I really like the steam release switch (when using the appliance as a pressure cooker). This one appliance is a great substitute for several others that might otherwise clutter your kitchen counters or cabinet space. It is made to last, and a great investment!

Loving My Instant Pot Rio 7-in-1

I have a larger version from a different brand that I use often, but it’s nice to have one that’s half the size. Since the kids have moved out and it’s just the two of us now, this Rio is the perfect size for our meals. It is incredibly easy to use, and I especially appreciate that the steam release lever is positioned away from the steam valve, so I don’t risk getting burned when releasing steam. I tested it out by cooking some meatballs, and it worked like a dream—they cooked in just 7 minutes! I’ve never made yogurt before, but with that function available, I’m eager to give it a try. It takes up very little space on the counter and is also lightweight. This Instant Pot will also replace my large slow cooker, and I look forward to experimenting with more recipes and functions. I think it is well worth the price!

The bowl and seal are dishwasher safe, which is great. This has all the options like Sear and Rice Cooker like the bigger one, just a smaller family size. I really love it! Great value for the price, the options for meals are unlimited!
