I didn’t buy it to replace other cookery tools, stove-top or otherwise. Its size appealed. I own two larger sizes, and I use them regularly for different purposes. I wanted to try a smaller version, ideal to use for one person. I own a regular stove top pressure cooker, as well. For now, though, I like experimenting with this one. Winter is upon us, and I think a Japanese curry will come out just fine in this unit. It’s light, easy for me to handle and takes up little space for such a useful item.
