The K cup side seems to work well and makes a good hot cup of coffee. The miss is on the carafe side. The coffee comes out lukewarm, and after having made quite a few pots, it still has an odd plastic taste to it. I was hoping this machine would be the ticket for ease in the morning and half of it is, however, the other half is not. It is also on the expensive side given the fact the carafe does not produce good coffee.

Originally it was purchased with the idea that the pot would be used more that the single but it has been split down the middle. My boyfriend has to get up very early most mornings so the timer feature has been great. I personally love the iced coffee setting the most. Something to note is that the pods for it have 5 holes now instead of 2 so if you get reusable k cups, make sure its the new version.
