Pros & Cons
Pros
- Stunning Picture Quality: Reviewers consistently highlight the monitor's exceptional picture quality, vibrant colors, and deep blacks, thanks to its QD-OLED panel. Many users describe the visual experience as 'amazing,' 'gorgeous,' and a significant upgrade from IPS panels, making games and movies more immersive and enjoyable.
- Great Value for Price: Many customers feel this monitor offers excellent value, especially when purchased on sale. They appreciate that it delivers high-end QD-OLED performance at a more affordable price point compared to other monitors in its class, making it accessible to a wider range of users.
- Smooth Gaming Performance: The monitor's 165Hz refresh rate and fast response time contribute to a smooth and responsive gaming experience. Gamers report minimal screen tearing and stuttering, making it well-suited for fast-paced games and providing a competitive edge.
Cons
- OLED Care Intrusiveness: Several reviewers find the MSI OLED Care feature, designed to prevent burn-in, to be somewhat intrusive. The periodic pop-up and mandatory maintenance cycle can interrupt gameplay or work, and some users wish there was an option to disable or schedule it more conveniently.
- Glare Issues: The monitor's glossy screen can cause glare in brightly lit environments. Some users find the reflections distracting, especially when there is direct ambient light on the screen, which can diminish the deep blacks.
- Inconsistent Quality Control: A few reviewers reported issues such as dead pixels, blemishes on the screen, or the monitor failing shortly after purchase. These experiences highlight potential quality control concerns and the inconvenience of dealing with warranty claims and returns.

Fantastic

For what i needed and wanted this fit perfect. Sure i could’ve spent more and gotten a few extra features or slightly faster framerate however i am extremely happy with this monitor. I purchased it through a black Friday sale and have not regretted it one but. Clolors are great, Black levels are great for me its a tremendous balance between price and performance. Ive never had a single pfroblem with it at all. Its hard to believe at the time of buying this, it was one of if not the cheapest 4k oled monitors in this size and spec and yet in my opinion is as good if not better than some of the more expensive ones. Plus no RGB just a sleek, thin, albeit heavy monitor.

Best for the price
Verified purchase Verified purchase: This reviewer bought the product.Amazon Customer April 9, 2025Review source: AmazonI don’t know what I’ll do if this ever goes out. The switch from TN to OLED was insane. The blacks look great and apart from it needing to go through its maintenance cycle every 4 hours which can become disruptive, I’d say this was an amazing buy.

Absolutely stunning for the price.
JonathanM April 7, 2025Review source: BestbuyProbably one of the most afforable yet beautiful 4k OLED monitors out there. Yes, it only does 165hz, but I personally cannot tell a difference between 240hz and 165hz. Would definetly recommend if you’re looking for a budget friendly 4k OLED.

Best Value 32" 4K OLED Monitor
Verified purchase Verified purchase: This reviewer bought the product.Q Hollis March 17, 2025Review source: AmazonThis screen is absolutely gorgeous.
Pros:
-Colors pop and the contrast is fantastic.
-The black and white contrast is incredible, it’s so dark it looks like the screen is off.
-Obviously with OLED there’s no backlight, so there’s no flickering and no bleed-through.Cons:
-The MSI OLED Care function is a bit annoying as you can’t skip it and it takes 5-10 minutes to complete. But it’s a small price to pay to have the screen last as long as possible.
-It takes at least 5 seconds to come back on after it’s asleep, definitely a shock coming from a TN panel monitor that came back on instantly.I think these QD-OLED screens are easily the best looking monitors on the market. If you are on the fence because of the burn-in issues, just make sure to get your monitor registered with MSI and get that warranty activated.

Not worth the cost.
Verified purchase Verified purchase: This reviewer bought the product.c500 March 15, 2025Review source: AmazonThis was my first OLED monitor and I wasn’t impressed. There are just not enough settings to adjust like there are on TVs to get the brightness and contrast right. Blacks in several of my games looked washed out and grayish no matter what I changed in the settings. When I switched from this monitor to an HDTV in 4K the difference was astonishing. I can get deeper blacks and better contrast on my Sony LED/LCD HDTV than I ever could with this monitor.
Another issue with this monitor is that the power and menu buttons are on the backside. So you have to fumble around with your fingers trying to feel where they are. And the settings menu is controlled by a joystick sort of button that you must press around and push in. I was constantly pressing the wrong selection. A final issue with this monitor is that you are forced into an OLED Care procedure every 4 to 16 hours where the monitor will shut down while you are using it. This is HIGHLY annoying and there is no way to disable this feature. If you are looking for a 32 inch gaming monitor just get an HDTV instead. You can save a ton of money with a TV too. Yeah, TVs have a 60hz refresh rate but that looks totally smooth in 4k in my opinion.

4k Oled for the Reserved Gamer
Charge Blade Woman March 14, 2025Review source: AmazonThis monitor has bright, beautiful colors, as expected of an Oled monitor, and the included DP cable supports the advertised refresh rate.
The sides are quite thin, which makes it a little scary setting up, but it also helps cut the weight, making it easier to add to a mounting arm.
It’s a 4K montior, so I feel that the more modest 165 Hz is a more realistic refresh for most GPUs, with a focus more on looks over speed.
There is also a very nice promo that you can get with it, which is the cherry on top.
