Pros & Cons
Pros
- Stunning Picture Quality: Reviewers consistently highlight the monitor's exceptional picture quality, vibrant colors, and deep blacks, thanks to its QD-OLED panel. Many users describe the visual experience as 'amazing,' 'gorgeous,' and a significant upgrade from IPS panels, making games and movies more immersive and enjoyable.
- Great Value for Price: Many customers feel this monitor offers excellent value, especially when purchased on sale. They appreciate that it delivers high-end QD-OLED performance at a more affordable price point compared to other monitors in its class, making it accessible to a wider range of users.
- Smooth Gaming Performance: The monitor's 165Hz refresh rate and fast response time contribute to a smooth and responsive gaming experience. Gamers report minimal screen tearing and stuttering, making it well-suited for fast-paced games and providing a competitive edge.
Cons
- OLED Care Intrusiveness: Several reviewers find the MSI OLED Care feature, designed to prevent burn-in, to be somewhat intrusive. The periodic pop-up and mandatory maintenance cycle can interrupt gameplay or work, and some users wish there was an option to disable or schedule it more conveniently.
- Glare Issues: The monitor's glossy screen can cause glare in brightly lit environments. Some users find the reflections distracting, especially when there is direct ambient light on the screen, which can diminish the deep blacks.
- Inconsistent Quality Control: A few reviewers reported issues such as dead pixels, blemishes on the screen, or the monitor failing shortly after purchase. These experiences highlight potential quality control concerns and the inconvenience of dealing with warranty claims and returns.

Almost perfect for what I wanted
Verified purchase Verified purchase: This reviewer bought the product.dorsman February 10, 2025Review source: BestbuyI was looking for a monitor that I could use both for PS5 as well as a secondary PC monitor to my ultrawide OLED. I only needed it to be at least 120 hz for PS5, I didn’t want a curve, and I didn’t need it to have speakers or smart TV features.
This monitor checked all those boxes and was a little cheaper because of those things not being included and it being 165 hz. I have been testing it for a couple days and so far I really like it once I figured out how to dial in the image settings to best match my other OLED. It is not as bright as my Alienware OLED but that’s fine with me because I mostly play in a dark room.
The only reason I knocked a star off is because at one point while in the middle of my game, I got a pop up message on screen asking if I wanted to do the OLED care pixel refresh. I have the setting on 16 hours for this in the menu and I hadn’t even gamed on this thing for more than 5 hours total and I got that message so I don’t get it. There is no information on MSI’s web site about how this setting even works.
I looked around online and people said I shouldn’t even see that message anymore going forward because it should do everything it needs to do for OLED care while in standby. That’s what my Alienware OLED does so this thing better be like that as well or I would need to return it. I don’t want to deal with a pop up message while in the middle of playing a game or watching a movie.
If I can figure out how to not deal with the OLED care while in the middle of use then I will consider this a great purchase for the price and it goes on sale sometimes for around 700 which is a great deal for a 32 inch OLED.

Moderately frustrating and buyers remorse
Verified purchase Verified purchase: This reviewer bought the product.Mr. Brucker February 8, 2025Review source: AmazonSo it is a OLED but I have some issues with it. I am going to talk about them in order of frustration.
It has a Display port 1.4… this is a 5 year old standard that does not let you get the 165 Hz that it advertises. Only the HDMI ports are the newer style. This may not be a problem if you only have 1 but having 2 is in frustrating as you can not find good HDMI to DP adapters on amazon that are dp 2.1 to hdmi 2.1 as of writing
OLED CARE POP UP- this dam this pops up at the same time you plugged the monitor in every few days… You can not schedule this so in my case I will be working and up pops a annoying thing telling me to do OLED care and what’s worse is some days you can not post pone it and it will just shut you down for 15 minutes or so.
Glare. This are high gloss finish and reflect light pretty bad.
Out of the box color is bad. You have to seriously find a youtube video to calibrate this this thing and get it to it’s full spec and also get the color right or it will be really bad. Out of the box it was bad looking once calibrated it’s much better but takes about a hour to watch the video, pause, find the setting and set it and all that.
Hope this helps!

QD-OLED are the best displays available.*
Verified purchase Verified purchase: This reviewer bought the product.Lynx February 8, 2025Review source: AmazonOutstanding picture quality. Rich colors and very deep blacks. Great price compared to other QD-OLED displays. HDR is a bit weaker than some panels (460 nits) in true black mode, but I rarely use HDR anyways, so that doesn’t really bother me. Also, Amazon listing shows “Speaker” which is just a headphone jack, although you can run speakers through it.
*The next best high-end-high-quality type of display coming out that will compete with a QD-OLED is something called a QDEL display, and those panels haven’t even been made available to preorder as of writing. Something to consider though if you aren’t looking to buy immediately

You pay what you get
Verified purchase Verified purchase: This reviewer bought the product.GeekloveBuy February 8, 2025Review source: AmazonYou pay what you get. Simply perfection. People being salty like ohh LED and OLED, there is not much of a difference~~ Oh, it is not worth the money, blah blah. Let me tell you, if you keep waiting, you will turn 30 40 50 60 and you go ahhh, I should get it sooner.
No one needs 1000nits HDR. OLED with 400nits and 175hz is good enough forever. You will always question yourself and hesitating. But I’m telling you right now. It worth every bucks!

One of the best displays I have ever owned
Verified purchase Verified purchase: This reviewer bought the product.Mario January 11, 2025Review source: AmazonI have owned a lot of displays ranging from IPS to VA and now oled and by far this is the best monitor I have owned the colors are amazing I don’t have HDR and it blows me away the smoothness and the frame rate it provides are wonderful for gaming. The 32 inch display is the sweet spot for gaming and when it comes to 4K and is the best size for monitors in my opinion. I’m glad I got this as the new videos cards are releasing soon hopefully I cap out at the 165hz or hit pretty close.
