The motion is super clear and the brightness is awesome. It is a 240hz display but the adaptive sync paired with its gsync compatibility makes it super smooth at any frame rate in any game. If you are deciding between this and a new GPU, I recommend this as its cheaper and feels like as much or more of an upgrade. I imagine the KVM switch and USBC input functionality will come in handy as well for me as I work from home on occasion and having to switch my peripherals over was always a pain. I would make sure to buy cleaning supplies (ISP and a microfiber cloth) as well as update the firmware and drivers immediately.

Only CON (maybe): Glossy, if you touch the screen it’ll stay there very annoying. Hopefully I can clean it with easy, not sure yet.
HDR is nice in games, but for internet / videos it’s not great unless you use chrome (sigh)

Me ha pasado esto en momentos críticos y no se puede cancelar, terrible!!! La pantalla se demora en responder en ciertos momentos, por ejemplo, cuando estoy jugando y quiero ir al escritorio presionando ALT – TAB se demora demasiado en cambiar. La imagen es de calidad pero usarlo en la vida real puede resultar molesto. Por 300 dólares se puede conseguir un monitor VA con mejor respuesta. La imagen OLED vs VA no es tan diferente (yo tengo ambos). No vale la pena gastar 1000 dólares por un panel que causa molestias al usuario.

The colors are amazing and it feels ultra snappy. The fall backs of this are QD-OLED has a magenta color when there is light in the room, making my cheap VA and IPS screens feel like they have a better contrast ratio. It bothers me more than I thought it would, also the build quality feels solid, but the attention to detail is lacking. I needed to get 90 degree adapters for every connector on this thing in order to keep them hidden from showing under the monitor. That is insane considering how much this thing costs. Also, when running in HDR peak 1000 mode, the screen no longer acts like an OLED, the black parts of the screen illuminate, I really don’t understand that. Even then I crop the resolution to 2560×1440 the sides of the screen illuminate, in addition to that the screen got into a boot loop until I returned it back to True Black 400. Not super impressed, but if you can get a good deal, I’d pick it up again. Not for 800.00 though.
