I haven’t had any issues with this MSI monitor and Im very glad I tried another brand monitor. Only thing that would make it better is if the whites were brighter and didn’t look dull on the screen. If this is your only monitor you wouldn’t be able to tell, but i have a secondary led monitor and the white are way more white looking and bright. I use this monitor for gaming, video edition and surfing the internet.

IF YOU ARE A GAMER THAT PLAYS ANY KIND OF TIME-SENSITIVE GAME, such as FPS games, DO NOT BUY THIS MONITOR. MSI has a “feature” where it will REQUIRE you to turn your monitor off after a period of time “to prevent burn in”. THERE IS NO MANUAL BYPASS FOR THIS. IF YOU DO NOT DO THIS, THE MONITOR WILL FORCE YOU TO DO IT, EVEN IN THE MIDDLE OF A GAME. YOU CANNOT BYPASS THIS. I was playing 7dtd, facing a zombie horde, and the panel popped up with a 50 second delay. As in, if I don’t do it in 50 seconds, it will do it for me. People are complaining EVERYWHERE about this “REQUIREMENT” for “care”. If I could refund this product and get a different one, even if it was inferior, I would do it in a heartbeat.
Shame on MSI for making a product that isn’t smart enough to do its LED panel cycle during off hours – you know, when people are SLEEPING!
I will never buy another MSI product again knowing that they force this kind of crap on their consumers. Anti-MSI, forever.

Getting this monitor has shown me just how old my previous Dell monitors were because colors are so deep and vibrant.
I did a lot of research before I decided to spend on a high end monitor, including multiple review sites and multiple individual’s comments and I landed here on the 341CQPX. Go do some research yourself and you’ll see that this is one of the highest rated ultra-wide monitors on the market right now (Winter 2025).
I haven’t experienced any issues with burn-in and there are a lot of features to combat that on these monitors. I would recommend this monitor if you are in the market for a high end ultra-wide any day of the week.

Colors are rich, blacks are truly black (no backlight), and the ultrawide screen space not only makes gaming way more immersive but it’s also great for productivity. A shame that 1440p 10-bit 240hz requires DSC but it is what it is, and frankly not noticeable to my eyes. The only concern I have is burn in, but that’s general to all OLEDs, and that worry is alleviated somewhat by the 3 year warranty covering it (don’t forget to register). Can’t say about the text quality because I’m not sensitive to it; it looks fine to me

Even the relatively light coating on the Lg’s makes them look pretty bland and slightly blurry or grainy in comparison.
