Was able to use a couple more times, but on the fifth use, electrical smelling smoke started pouring out of the top of unit. I have a small counter on my screened-in porch for my crockpot, instant pot etc. since I live in a tiny house, keeping excess steam from inside. This prevented the smoke from being inside. Called Ninja, they said to return it for a replacement, excellent customer service, but a pain to repack and return and waiting up to 4 wks for a replacement.
