It’s a pretty cool air fryer with things I particularly appreciate: All in one containers that go from fridge to cook, to serve, to store, to dishwasher; the operation is very simple, straightforward. I used the “recrisp” mode first to reheat some chicken legs and substanially sized meatballs, and I was impressed how it reheated all the way through the items without drying, or making it rubbery. It was as if it was directly from the restaurant kitchen!
The glassware allows me to see how things are doing in there, as does the “light” button.
I don’t care for using a microwave at all, so I’m thrilled to have this “futuristic machine” with quality name and supplies.
It does run on the noisy side. I was planning to purchase the additional 4-quart dish as well, but so far the 2- and 6-quart have been quite sufficient to meet our needs, from a small whole chicken, to pre-packaged cinnamon rolls/biscuits, to reheating single portions. -

For example, it has glass cooking containers with counter-safe bases and lids that allow one to place the food in the refrigerator in the same container, both before and after cooking, making for easy meal prep and reheating of leftovers. As a person with energy-limiting chronic conditions, having a meal already ready in a CleanCrisp container that I can take out of the fridge to pop right into the air fryer makes my life easier. I also appreciate the fact that the glass allows me to see the food cook, so I can end the cycle early if I can tell I’ve miscalculated temperature or time. The glass cleaners are also nontoxic and much easier to clean, whether washing by hand or in the dishwasher. While both are listed as dishwasher safe, I tend to hand wash the crisper plates separately, so they maintain their finish longer.
However, the Ninja Crispi Pro 6-in-1 air fryer has a larger capacity 6 qt container that allows one to cook more easily for a family or to do batch-cooking. In addition to the 2.5 qt and 6 qt glass containers that come with the Crispi Pro, I’ve tested and this model also works with the 4-qt container that comes with the standard Crispi. If you want to use the smaller 6-cup containers, though, you’ll need to use the the original Crispi (both models have earned their place in my kitchen).
I will say that I tried the 2.5-qt container first, and I initially had a bit of a challenge getting the Crispi Pro to recognize it as being properly seated even though I heard it click fully into place. When I turned it off and on again and then inserted the container starting with the opposite side, though, it worked fine, and I had no problem at all with the air fryer when using the 4-qt container. I find that gently pulling downward on the adjustable base piece from the sides with one hand allows me to much more easily insert the containers into the air fryer with the other, and then I can easily position the container with both hands once it’s inserted.
I also appreciate the additional functions the Crispi Pro includes: the fact that in addition to the air fry, max crisp, recrisp, and bake functions, this model also allows me to roast and dehydrate is really nice. And unlike the original Crispi, this model allows me more control when I’m trying to follow air fryer recipes and extends functionality (for example, allowing me to proof dough by using the bake function at a much lower temp).
The Crispi Pro doesn’t produce any fuminess when cooking, and it also doesn’t make the house smell like cooking oil; when operating it, I just smell the cooking food. And the machine itself seems durable without being overly heavy.
I originally thought that the Crispi Pro would be stored when not in use, but I find myself using it so often that it’s earned a permanent place on my countertop. I’d wondered initially whether an air fryer — even a multi-function one — would be worth the Crispi Pro’s purchase price, but after using it for a few weeks, I see this kitchen appliance as so useful to me that it’s a great value, even at a higher purchase price than some other air fryers on the market.
