The upper heating element broke after about 7 months, luckily within the warranty period. Ninja sent a complete replacement base unit (less trays, etc.) but I had to pay about $30 shipping. It’s concerning that the element is not serviceable (at least you can’t purchase one). Hoping that the new one doesn’t have the same issue after the warranty runs out, it has the potential to be a costly fix (purchase new unit).

But it’s impossible to keep clean. Everytime i pull out the rack to flip anything, all the juices drip all on the glass window. Also the crumb fall all over the counter. Poorly designed.

Defective oven? Too noisy

I read some of the reviews but didn’t see anyone talking about the noise. It is noisy when operating but we can live with that. However, what we can’t live with is the noise it makes after it’s done cooking and cooling down. At first we thought it was a noisy fan, and that’s where the noise is coming from to cool down the oven. But then we noticed the fan on the side was not blowing air, just making a strange noise, so maybe the fan is stuck and not turning. Not a normal noise.. I suspect Amazon got a defective oven on return and decided to try and resell it. If that’s true, that’s a shame. We have to repack and return the oven now. We liked everything about it but we can’t live with that noise.
