Double Oven For Countertop With Multiple Features
Maxine October 3, 2024Review source: AmazonNeeding a bigger toaster oven, I ordered this unit. The oven arrived in its signature box. The stainless steel double stack xl countertop oven and air fryer weights about 31 pounds with dimensions a little over 18″D x 16″W x 13″H. The oven accessories included are two sheet pans, two wire racks, ONE crumb tray, air fryer basket, and meat probe. A detailed owner’s guide and instructions, along with recipes. This oven can bake, broil, reheat, keep warm, toast, bagel air fry, convection bake, pizza, air roast, whole roast, and dehydrate.
After washing and drying all accessories, I used the instructions to bake and air fry at 450 degrees both top and bottom with all accessories inside for 25 minutes to remove odor and packaging residue. While this was taking place, I went to YouTube as instructed and watch a few videos to make sure I was operating correctly. The guides included are adequate but I like visual as well.
It’ll take practice to get accustomed to all the operations, but so far is fairly easy to follow. The posted picture of the toast was a level 5.
There are some downsides for me in the use of this oven. The main problem is my cabinet position which is only a couple inches from the top of the unit. This wouldn’t be a problem necessarily if the top oven was not vented so much. I can actually look down into the unit from the gap at the top where the oven shuts. To me, this is like cooking with the oven propped open. There was way too much heat and smoke coming out from this area to be safely used under my cabinet. So, I’ll have to position differently to use.
Many aspects I really like are the easily manipulated and lighted selections, easy read outs, and a big plus is the automatic shut off. A very cool feature is that two meals can be synced in both ovens. There is a light inside for viewing.
Others aspects that I don’t like are a personal preference. I would prefer that the bottom part of the oven could be opened without opening the top as well (the top does open on its own). When opening the box, there is immediate advertisement to purchase a nonstick air fryer basket; why not have this type included instead of the cheap one provided. Why not give two crumb trays instead of one since two is ideal in dual use. This unit is only about 1/2″ wider from my older unit which was disappointing since I wanted to use some of my larger pans. Another negative is that all the included accessories should be hand washed. Also, not advised to use my two favorite cooking mediums of olive oil and butter due to smoking.
This is my first Ninja appliance, so time will tell if I can get past my dislikes. -
Very Capable Appliance

We did cook a small chicken and we loved the way it came out and it had a nice golden brown color just like TV. Nice feature of having the ability to cook two different item at once. Used this to air fry some fry’s and then chicken wings and this oven handle it great. The fan when the unit is preheating is sometimes noisy but when the oven is hot you barely hear it. The operator interface is simple even though this machine can do many things. Really like as a toaster the bread came out nice and even, but really thick bread cannot be done because of clearance. This is a large big oven though so make sure you have the clearance. This is a perfect dorm appliance for anyone in school as it is so versatile. Well worth the $$$

scale modler October 2, 2024Review source: AmazonThis is a nice well made oven and air fryer. The owners guide is very well done, with great instructions. There is another booklet that is in color and includes additional instructions and some really great recipes for both the fryer and the oven. The oven has 12 different settings for cooking, like toast, reheat, dehydrate, etc.. The size of the fryer does take up quite a bit of space on my counter so I have less room for other items, and it is heavy to pick up so storing and moving it every time I need to cook is cumbersome. The top portion, the oven, seems a little low and small so you need to use the bottom portion of the oven for bigger items like turkey. I am not sure this will work for me as I can cook numerous large and small items in my double oven much easier. I thought I would try this air fryer oven combo but it just doesn’t work for my needs.

Summer September 30, 2024Review source: AmazonReviewing Ninja Countertop Oven Double Stack XL & Air Fryer with Pro Cook System, I’m going to admit it…I get overwhelmed when cooking more than one item if they need to be cooked differently (different temps, different times, etc.). It’s too much for me. That makes holidays hard. When I saw that this had two ovens and you can control them separately and sync them up to finish cooking at the same time, even though they might need cooked for different amounts of time, at different temperatures, I couldn’t believe my luck.
This has a been a lifesaver. I no longer stress about making several different items for dinner. I can make more complex meals that have several components, rather than just casseroles. I also no longer need to guess and keep checking the meat. It has presets for different levels of doneness, and they work perfectly. It’s quite a bit larger than I was expecting and I can fit several Cornish hens in this at one time. I can roast, broil or air fry, along with a host of other options. It can also dehydrate! They are truly separate, so air doesn’t mix between the two of them. I tested this out by cooking fish in the bottom and toasting bread on top. There was no transfer of fish smell or taste to the bread.
It comes with two baking sheets, two wire racks, an air fryer basket, and a removable crumb tray to easily clean up any droppings. There’s also a small recipe book to get you started if you need ideas. I plan on making some of the recipes because they look good. One thing to note: you can open the top compartment by itself, but to open the bottom compartment, you must open the top also (it’s one big door, but you can bend it to open only the top). This is why it’s important to use the sync feature.
It’s not small. It weights over 30 lbs and is almost 19” wide. The depth is a little over 16” and it’s around 13” tall. I wouldn’t suggest setting on a cheap, wobbly, kitchen cabinet. It needs a sturdy counter or island. It’s Ninja, so it’s a good brand with a great reputation. I’m very happy with it and I can’t overstate how much easier it’s made my life!

Dual, Independent Ovens Means Quick and Easy Dinners!

We had been using a traditional air-fryer (with the pull-out baskets) almost daily, but I’ve been seeing a lot of news lately around baskets with harmful non-stick materials. That set off my hunt for a stainless steel alternative, which is what led me to this product. The baskets are clearly made of stainless steel, so I feel good cooking food for my kids using this. I absolutely love that the dual ovens are completely independent from each other. Just last night, I was able to quickly and easily crisp-up some sweet potato fries using the air fry basket on the bottom while simultaneously baking chicken in the top oven. Saves so much time and is the perfect size for smaller/standard sized portions.
We’ve owned a handful of Ninja products/appliances and have always been very happy with the quality. This oven is no exception!

This oven is PERFECT! Love that both ovens can be set to differing times, and, with the smart cook feature you can time it for both to be complete at the same time.
It takes up about the same space as our older oven, just an inch, or so taller.
VERY happy with this purchase and have recommended to others.

Jennifer G. September 29, 2024Review source: AmazonComes in a big box but the actual oven fits neatly on my countertop. Included 2 wire racks, 2 sheet pans and an air fryer basket. Love the concept and feel like this is one of those things like the electric pressure cookers where it has a lot of functions but may not be the absolute best tool for all of them. Time will tell. Easy to set up but has a steep learning curve, again similar to the popular electric pressure cookers. Make sure you read the booklet and follow the guidelines. Don’t toss your microwave though because even though it’s got reheat and keep warm functions, that only happens in the top oven that’s got just about a 3-4 inch opening and appears to be more useful for things that can be put on a sheet pan. I ran the recommended first use hearing cycle and didn’t have a lot in the way of fumes or anything. I’m really excited to test all of the various functions, especially the dehydrator and air fryer ones.

Living in a micro apartment, the typical two options are a hot plate and a microwave (unless you’re down with using the communal kitchen down the hall.
I can’t tell you how to part with your money, but this is worth a good long look!
The cooking times are fast, the interface is beautifully simple, and having two ovens means this thing really DOES do it all.
You can’t make a dinner for 5, but this will fit most average baking/cooking needs for a couple people. It is a perfect solution for me! Minimalism appliance!
