The smart cook feature with the thermometer makes cooking a roast a simple process. Probe your roast, turn it on, set the internal temp, and forget it! I would definitely buy another one!

For example, I selected Beef and Doneness level of medium. When the cooking start, the Ninja display Target 140 deg F and Current temp of 75 deg F. After the Ninja Current temp reached 130-134 deg F, the ninja shutdown. Now, if I change the Doness to Medium Well. The Target temp is 145 deg F when I start cooking. But Ninja stop at around 140 deg F. The Ninja never reach the target temp before stop cooking. Anybody have this issue? Unit seem defective or what?
