    We loved this litter box, until it stopped working 20 months later. The mechanism that moves the metal rake is plastic and it was worn out. The company could not replace that part. We only have one cat and she weighs 5 lbs., so it wasn’t “overworked”. If you use this box, don’t use clumping litter.

    Bought Oct 7 2025 and it doesn’t work like it supposed to do! The wire rack doesn’t work all the time and has to be manually worked. Ridiculous for $279. We have taken it apart several times and still doesn’t work right!!

    I got this litter box because my cat is very picky. We also have the neaska litter robot too. I am of the belief that my cats deserve to have a clean box after every use. That is why I opt to get the litter robots.
    Anyway I got this one because my cat kept peeing outside the box in one spot. When I would put a cheap four dollar litter pail out he would use that only. So I figured I needed to invest in another litter box that would better fit him. I came across this box. Needless to say immediately out of the box my cat used this. I am very happy with this purchase!

    This litter box is garbage. I bought this in hopes it would clean the litter if was gone for a few days at a time. No such luck.
    It is very loud in general. Every time the rake runs, it makes a loud popping noise when the rake is about half way back to home. Sometimes the rake stops there, sometimes it continues to the home position. I have cleaned the sensors and as well as other troubleshooting steps they suggest. The problem continues.
    Do yourself a favor and do not buy this item.

    If I could give this product a negative I would. I have the later version/older of this product I love it I got my daughter this version because she is very busy and doesn’t have alot of time for litter box disposal well sadly she spends more time trying to fix this litter box it is the worst purchase I think I have ever encountered it’s broke down more than it works. It has become an expensive you scoop it litter box! The self cleaning never works it is never happy with the amount of litter that is in the box the waste gets stuck everywhere on the box on the grid gate on the edges of the dump area it’s actually very disgusting and contaminating to use due to all the emptying that has to be done and the waste sticking to the walls etc can’t not express enough how unsatisfying this product is very disappointing. Tried to give it some time but it’s not worth the money. But the older version is well worth it and I actually use regular clumping litter with it instead of crystal litter as it’s expensive to keep up with and the regular it works amazingly. Hope this helps someone to not purchase their nightmare of a litter box as I did and now hate to throw it out because of the expense!
