    This litter box lasts max 2 months before breaking down. Don’t waste your time or money. It’s so expensive for the crap quality. I’ve gone through several of them with returns and each one has broken within 2-3 months. Some faster than that!

    I wrote a review on my Petsafe litter box that I need to amend. I was frustrated by not being able to reach a customer support person. After I was able to reach a customer service rep. She was very professional and handled my problem immediately. I was very satisfied with Petsafe’s response.
    It was difficult getting to a customer service person and it should not have been.

    A very expensive item that is noisy, doesn’t really scoop it all out especially if it get behind the grate. Not very sturdy either, my daughter lost her balance and merely put her hand down to catch herself from falling. Well, it broke straight through and then would never scoop right after that. I do believe there are better options out there.

    Look, I don’t know if there’s a perfect automatic litter box out there. Certainly those at the $600 range seem…a higher price than I’d like. Plus most of them are these housed units which seem small/crampy.

    So this one is an affordable option. I’ve had two of these, had identical experiences. After a certain time…a few months…the – unbelievably stupidly designed – rake system fails, losing grip, one side of the rake advances at a different rate than the other side, causing a freeze.

    Plus, with both units, I attempted to reposition and correct the failure… But as I mentioned, stupid design, impossible to correct (seemingly).

    More frustrating overall than it’s worth…that’s why I’d recommend you keep searching.

    Piece of junk that will cost you 10x the litter if you use regular litter. That’s only when it works and doesn’t shut off cause it can’t handle pushing the crap through the litter. Waste of money

    I’m not even sure where to start there are so many flaws with this thing.
    1. It’s obnoxiously loud. I have numerous Litter Robots in the house and you can barely hear them. This thing sounds like it was made for an 8th grade robotics project in the 90s
    2. The waste drawer is small and there’s nothing to make sure the waste is evenly distributed. The drawer ends up getting over full on one side and almost empty on the other. Then when I try to take the drawer out, the waste gets stuck on the door and/or gets knocked on the floor. It’s absolutely disgusting.
    3. The rake gets caked with clumped litter and waste.
    4. When the rake is in home position, there is a ton of clumped litter and waste stuck between the rake and the end of the box. There’s no way to get that out other than scooping, which I have to do daily.
    5. It does nothing to contain or ease the smell

    I wish there was something positive I could say about this thing but there’s nothing that comes to mind
