This is an updated review. I had suspected that the two carriages that moved the rake were out of sync. A copule of weeks afte writing the previous review, in frustration I opened up the mechanizm and discoved the carriages were indeed out of sync. Wlith one side agains the limit switch, I removed the roll pin on the drive gear for the other side and turned it until bothe sides were equal distance from the end. Works great now! They have a serious quality control proplem because there is no way they can get out of sync by shipping. -
Literal garbage, piece of trash, waste of money

I managed to somehow magically get it unstuck twice but the third time now it’s just done. I have tried literally everything. It just won’t budge. Sensors aren’t dirty, rake is clean (though how do you expect a rake to stay perfectly clean in a LITERAL TOILET), nothing in the way. It just got to the end and welp, that’s it. $300 of your dollars, bye-bye! BUY ANY OTHER BOX. The amount of time I have spent just trying to get this thing to work in the last 48 HOURS I could have easily hand scooped the box 15 times and hosed it down in the backyard.

It goes completely forward with no issue, dumps the clumps, then gets stuck on nothing. When it tries to resume its cycle, it tries to go forward, getting stuck again. The only way to fix it is to keep pressing the button a million times until it’s back at the starting position. Seeing as I got this litter box because I have super low blood pressure and bending or crouching for longer than a few moments makes it drop and makes me ill, that doesn’t work for me at all.
I’ve been fighting this thing for about a month or so now, and today while trying to fix it I believe I heard either dust stuck up inside the machinery or electrical crackling sounds. Either way, it’s not going to be plugged in again, making this the most expensive manual litter box I’ve ever bought.
A fun bonus: When it did work, it would consistently somehow manage to get clumps trapped behind it, and always pushed good litter into the bin. This thing is expensive garbage.
