Pros & Cons
Pros
- Odor Control: Several reviewers highlight the litter box's ability to control odors, especially when used with appropriate clumping litter. Some reviewers mention that they no longer notice any litter box smell in their homes.
- Cat Acceptance: Many cats readily accepted and used the litter box, with some even enjoying watching the cleaning process. Some reviewers noted that their cats preferred this box over other automatic models.
- Convenience: Customers appreciate the convenience of automatic scooping, which reduces the time and effort required for litter box maintenance. The easy-to-remove waste drawer is also frequently mentioned as a positive feature.
Cons
- Reliability Issues: A significant number of reviewers report that the litter box stopped working or experienced mechanical failures (such as the rake getting stuck) within a few months of purchase. Some reviewers mention that the plastic parts are prone to breaking.
- Noise Level: Many reviewers describe the litter box as loud or noisy during operation, which can be disruptive, especially in smaller living spaces or at night. The noise is often attributed to the motor or the rake scraping against the box.
- Ineffective Cleaning: Several reviewers note that the rake does not effectively clean the litter box, leaving waste behind or pushing clean litter into the waste bin. Some mention that the rake doesn't reach the bottom of the pan, leading to a build-up of soiled litter.

So much easier to clean and I use less litter. -
So far love it Easy to clean and Empty will work with med size trash bags to line to drawer
Verified purchase Verified purchase: This reviewer bought the product.Amber March 23, 2024Review source: AmazonEasy to empty I use the dillons or walmart med size trash bags to line the pull out drawer with for easier clean up. it works best with clay scoopable litter not so good with scoopable walnut litter witch is my favorite litter. My cats prefer this one over my litter robot 3 so it has a tun more scooping hopefully it can keep up with them I have 5 pet house cats plus my bengal kittens until they sell so my litterboxes must work and be able to keep up with heavy traffic. I may update depending on if it continues to work as good as it is. It needs emptied once to twice a day and do have to scrap the bottom to get the pee out a few times a day but other wise so far its my favorite 😁

Mechanically fine but cleaning is still awful
Verified purchase Verified purchase: This reviewer bought the product.L March 21, 2024Review source: AmazonSo mechanically this works well to remove clumps and poo from the litter tray. The major issue is it scoops the waste into this deep moat which is plastic so it holds smells and bacteria terribly. I tried to line it with a bag to catch the waste because it is so difficult to get the waste from the moat out into a trash bag i can throw away BUT it is not designed to be lined with a litter pan liner bag, theres no way to secure the bag so its just a mess. I will be throwing this away because it is so hard to scoop out the waste and clean.

Definitive Solution for Pet Owners
Sierra Schmieder March 20, 2024Review source: AmazonAfter a little bit of research, I decided to buy the self-cleaning litter box. So glad I did! It’s a game-changer, especially the superior odor control. If there’s one thing I’d change, it would be the compatibility with other litter types. But overall, extremely pleased with this purchase.

Good Concept!
Verified purchase Verified purchase: This reviewer bought the product.SueSioux March 20, 2024Review source: AmazonThe concept for this litter box is good. However, it needs tweaking! The rake does not get enough matter going forward, to dump in drawer. Result being, there is still work to do getting poop from behind rake as it goes back. I am disappointed because it is not totally hands off!!

Lasted 3 months
Verified purchase Verified purchase: This reviewer bought the product.Just Keep on Dreaming March 19, 2024Review source: AmazonWhen this litter box arrived, I was impressed with how large it was and how large the waste container was. I was hoping this would be a great box for us. Unfortunately it stopped working after 3 months. The rake became stuck in the middle of the box and the dreaded red light came on. It always had a problem with leaving waste at the bottom of the box which needed to be regularly manually scooped. It cannot accomodate a reasonable amount of litter, so between the yucky stuff at the bottom and the small layer of litter on the top, the cats don’t have adequate clumping litter available for them to hide their business. Maybe I put too much litter in the box to compensate, and that is why the whole thing broke down. In any case, I am dumping it and going back to the Pet Zone litter box (which is not perfect either, but at least continues to work with an adequate amount of litter). My feeling is that you would probably be better off if you turned the electricity off and used this box as one that needs to be manually scooped — since that what you need to do anyway. But this is pretty expensive if you just want the box without the electronic scooping. If you do choose to acquire this litter box, be careful about how much litter you put in the box.

Don’t waste your money
Verified purchase Verified purchase: This reviewer bought the product.gframes77 March 17, 2024Review source: AmazonThis cleaning litter box does not clean the litter real good. When it rakes the litter it is supposed to dump all the wastes in the catch bin, it dumps some but takes it back to the front and then you have to clean the rake cause it’s nasty with waste on it.

Game changer!
Ashley Kesler March 14, 2024Review source: AmazonI LOOOOOOVE this litter box! I hate scooping my cats boxes and of course they get very nasty with two. I HAD…had. Two litter boxes but since I found this auto one I only have one and never smell it! I just check the drawer and add a bit of litter here and there and that’s it!

Decent but not perfect
Verified purchase Verified purchase: This reviewer bought the product.Tariq Mekkaoui March 13, 2024Review source: AmazonIt works really well and does remove the need for scooping but I thought it could be better for the price I paid. First complaint is that there is so much wasted litter also thrown in the bag. I feel like half the bag is wasted cat litter. My second complaint is I wish it stored more litter in the actual bin. There is barely enough in there for the litter to cover anything up. It is useful overall and I am happy I purchased it but surprised by the price point and would have only spent 100-150 on it if I had the choice.
