But this one is so much quieter than the other one that I have, a Littermaid. I love that he has lots of room. It does however dump some litter with the clumps, but seriously I am very impressed at this point. Bags are kind of hard to get but ty Amazon has them. A nice unit. For the money.
We will see how it continues to do. I was glad it came assembled.
Further review: After changing to Fresh Step, a better clumping litter. It is working much better. I don’t notice any Oder now. And I sit within a few feet of it. Which I can’t believe. We are in a park model in a resort. I don’t find it really noisy. I do find it a pain in the butt to pull the container out to empty the used litter. Not the best on the west but would buy again. I use only the clay litter. -
UPDATE: different litter makes all the difference. I’m still scooping everyday

I tried a different litter and it has made all the difference! It has to be a very good clumping litter. I’m now using FRESH STEP and I couldn’t believe that it didn’t even stick to the rake!
Maybe I need to change the clumping litter but as of now I don’t see the convenience of having such an expensive litter pan. I’m still scooping every day. I’ll update this review after trying a different litter brand. -

The rake mechanism seems much stronger and is easily removed for cleaning. The container holds much more litter which, I think, allows the litter to absorb urine before it can reach the bottom of the box, keeping it cleaner. I’d highly recommend this litter box.

It doesn’t keep it odor free. Wastes a lot of litter. Make sure to place a waste catcher u see it or you’ll have litter everywhere.

Loud Clicking & Litter Mess

It makes very loud clicking noises when the rake reaches near the end of the track. I bought a smart plug just so I could disable the litter box in during sleeping hours because it’s super loud and will absolutely make your heart jump from your chest in the middle of the night. The other thing is that it doesn’t seem to just drag soiled litter, it drags a lot of fresh litter into the disposal as well. Removing the waste box usually ends up spreading litter underneath the litter box. If it weren’t for these two things, there simply wouldn’t be a better automatic litter box out there. The litter robot is still the best.
