Pros & Cons
Pros
- Odor Control: Several reviewers highlight the litter box's ability to control odors, especially when used with appropriate clumping litter. Some reviewers mention that they no longer notice any litter box smell in their homes.
- Cat Acceptance: Many cats readily accepted and used the litter box, with some even enjoying watching the cleaning process. Some reviewers noted that their cats preferred this box over other automatic models.
- Convenience: Customers appreciate the convenience of automatic scooping, which reduces the time and effort required for litter box maintenance. The easy-to-remove waste drawer is also frequently mentioned as a positive feature.
Cons
- Reliability Issues: A significant number of reviewers report that the litter box stopped working or experienced mechanical failures (such as the rake getting stuck) within a few months of purchase. Some reviewers mention that the plastic parts are prone to breaking.
- Noise Level: Many reviewers describe the litter box as loud or noisy during operation, which can be disruptive, especially in smaller living spaces or at night. The noise is often attributed to the motor or the rake scraping against the box.
- Ineffective Cleaning: Several reviewers note that the rake does not effectively clean the litter box, leaving waste behind or pushing clean litter into the waste bin. Some mention that the rake doesn't reach the bottom of the pan, leading to a build-up of soiled litter.

I use clumping litter ☺️

Not Quiet and No Longer Works
Verified purchase Verified purchase: This reviewer bought the product.Suzy Kenski July 19, 2025Review source: AmazonThis litter box was never quiet but, it cleaned up pretty well. That lasted about a month. Then it started to stop in the middle of cleaning. I had to push the button to restart it. After about 6 weeks it’s now completely broken. I wouldn’t recommend this product.

Durability issues
Verified purchase Verified purchase: This reviewer bought the product.caseyreeeceee July 19, 2025Review source: AmazonThis was great while it worked. Unfortunately, the metal scoop is held in place by a plastic that breaks easily, so this became completely useless in the first 6 months. No way to replace the plastic part.

Do Not Buy Will Break
Verified purchase Verified purchase: This reviewer bought the product.Bails July 15, 2025Review source: AmazonIt worked good with two cats for about 6 months using tidy cat clumping litter. It would run constantly though as they would keeping going in it every time it was clean. The tray stains. The litter overflows in the pan into the track and eventually that made it stop working. We had to take it apart and deep clean the track to reduce the workload on the motor. I wish it had a timer that you could set, because it would scoop after they peed but the clumping didn’t fully clump and it just got messy. Then the litter would all smell like ammonia and I felt like I went through wayyyy more litter than necessary. Now I’ve gone back to hand scooping with arm and hammer clump and seal and have greatly reduced the amount of money spent on litter and less headache.

Expensive and loud piece of garbage
Verified purchase Verified purchase: This reviewer bought the product.Victoria Porter July 15, 2025Review source: AmazonThis thing is insufferably loud and really pretty much trash. It’s in the living room and wakes me up from my sleep at night behind a closed door. It always pushes a ton of clean litter into the drawer with the waste. The drawer still smells like pee, the grates smear the poop, and it’s just not a great product. The drawer does not hold enough, it constantly gets stuck, and now just under one year of use with regular cleaning and maintenance and the grate snapped when it was scooping a single piece of cat poop. I wish I could return this disaster

Pretty decent buy
Verified purchase Verified purchase: This reviewer bought the product.Debbie Marthaler July 5, 2025Review source: AmazonThis litter box is ok. We were having a problem with it not going all the way to the end and just stopping. We would get a red death ring and had to unplug and start it again. Hubby took the side off and fixed the little bracket and it now works fine. We bought the liter robot and the cat wouldn’t use it. It was a great deal when we got it. The assembly was easy and there is no smell from the draw.
