Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Odor Control: Several reviewers highlight the litter box's ability to control odors, especially when used with appropriate clumping litter. Some reviewers mention that they no longer notice any litter box smell in their homes.
  • Cat Acceptance: Many cats readily accepted and used the litter box, with some even enjoying watching the cleaning process. Some reviewers noted that their cats preferred this box over other automatic models.
  • Convenience: Customers appreciate the convenience of automatic scooping, which reduces the time and effort required for litter box maintenance. The easy-to-remove waste drawer is also frequently mentioned as a positive feature.

Cons

  • Reliability Issues: A significant number of reviewers report that the litter box stopped working or experienced mechanical failures (such as the rake getting stuck) within a few months of purchase. Some reviewers mention that the plastic parts are prone to breaking.
  • Noise Level: Many reviewers describe the litter box as loud or noisy during operation, which can be disruptive, especially in smaller living spaces or at night. The noise is often attributed to the motor or the rake scraping against the box.
  • Ineffective Cleaning: Several reviewers note that the rake does not effectively clean the litter box, leaving waste behind or pushing clean litter into the waste bin. Some mention that the rake doesn't reach the bottom of the pan, leading to a build-up of soiled litter.

So far it works great but now instead of scooping waist, I have to clean the rake

It’s great….if all you have is a kitten. An adult cat requires more litter in a box than this can hold, so it ends up pushing a lot of good litter into the waste tray. It’s far easier just to buy a sifting litterbox for $7 somewhere else. Mine only lasted about 4 months of use until it no longer works.

It worked great for about 3 months. I loved that I just had to empty the bin once a week or so for my two cats. The problem came after cleaning it’s couple times. The removable rake got off its track and it never worked properly again. I know it was mainly an id10t error but if it’s that hard to keep the rake from getting off its track then I’ll just stick with the original with the removable trays. The cats aren’t as fond of the crystal litter, but it’s better than dealing with the fussy clumping litterbox.

Buyer be ware! Do Not Purchase Item!

This product is over priced. The rake is so slow and does not clean the litter well at all. I do a better job scooping the litter than it does.

  7. Not the best product

Not the best product. While it scoops up solid waste, it does not scoop up smaller clumps that either gets stuck between the grill or pushed behind. Also the odor control is not as advertised. I was better off scooping to control odor. While I do not have to scoop solid waste technically which saves me time, it seems like it’s not doing more than it’s doing and makes me want to scoop still when I see the smaller clumps and smell the pungent odor.

Big oversized piece of junk! It can’t smooth down a pile of cat littler without slipping gears. Tried multiple times… hopefully someone who picks this up at the goodwill will have better luck.Don’t waste your money!

A friend of mine purchased this litter box so I ordered one too.
    His is great.
Mine stopped working after 3 months.
It gets power to it. The sensors aren’t blocked. There is no red light. There is nothing obstructing the track. It just doesn’t work.
I want it replaced or my money back.

  10. Worse litter box ever

Worse litterbox I have ever bough. This litterbox pushes clean litter along with the dirty litter. But that’s nothing, the worse part is that the rake frequently gets stuck on the front of the box, with the waste container open. Why? Because of the stupid sensors, they get a speck of dust and the box stop working. It happens every couple of days, sometimes everyday, sometimes twice a day. It is technically a piece of doodoo and a waste of money.
