Stopped working after a month, unreliable design, and misleading dimensions

Unfortunately, the dimensions provided by Amazon are wrong, the width is not 10 inches, but 19 inches.
It got worse after one month of use. The litter box started repeatedly throwing error code “5” or “S,” stating that the door cannot close. I checked carefully and there was nothing blocking the door. However, the error would not go away even after turning the litter box off and back on. With this error code, it refuses to run any cleaning cycle, which completely defeats the purpose of an automatic litter box. Customer service told me: “This is a new product for our company. We’re currently requiring faulty boxes be sent back for quality assurance purposes.” They offered a replacement, but of course this requires me to bring a 30-lb litter box to FedEx, which is extremely inconvenient, given that this is clearly not a user-caused issue. I should have checked the reviews first, because I now see multiple people reporting the SAME issues where the litter box starts throwing errors after some time and stops working. This appears to be a long-standing problem with the sensor or software control system..
I am also concerned about safety. Although it has weight sensing to stop cleaning when a cat puts weight on the litter box, the opening can still close off as the drum rotates to the back, especially if it is placed against a wall. Although nothing bad has happened, I felt uncomfortable enough that I had to place objects next to the litter box to prevent my cat from sticking his head in. -

My best advice for cat owners is be consistent, be the boss, do not let your kitty win. Do not move the litter box in different locations just be patient and you will win over your cat.
It is worth it. The tracking of the cats in the box and notification to empty the bag is convenient. Our dogs do not get a chance to eat the cat poop because it cleans after the cats leave the box. No odor. Very clean. Remember to give it time and do not move the box.
