I used it to replace my other mop and vacuum robots and it is so much better than both of them. Its also easier to maintain. I just refill it once a week, and clean it once a month, which only takes a few minutes. It maps fast and cleans really well. The solution also goes a long way so you dont have to constantly by more solution. One bottle of the concentrate has lasted for months and I still have plenty left. I never have to mop again!!

Better than the competition

While this is better than the S8 at emptying the bin on the robot it still has issues more often than I like for getting its bin empty. That would be less frustrating if the bot actually told you the bin is not emptying, which it does not.
This bot does from time to time still find things to get stuck in the agitators, and it does still find ways to get lost. It is rare, much, much rarer than the competing bots we have had with super familiar brand names.
The cleaning this bot provides is unparalleled. It cleans super well and has tons of cleaning options. Vacuum, mop, do both at the same time, vacuum first then mop, vacuum carpet first then vacuum and mop hard floors.
The ability for this vacuum to jump thresholds is quite amazing. So much so that one day I left the back door open and got a message from the bot that it couldn’t get back to the based after vacuuming the back patio (the jump out was only jumping 2″ to jump back in was 8″.)
I really like that I don’t have to mix the soap in the clean water tank, it automatically mixes it all for you so you know you have the right ratio
One thing they could improve is the ability to select which messages you want. I want maintenance warnings, stuck warnings, like true errors. I don’t want to know every time the vacuum starts, I don’t want to know when it is going back to base for a quick charge before it finished. I want to know when the bin tried to empty but couldn’t or when the base bag is full, I don’t get those. -
Horrible customer service
Yaw November 12, 2025Review source: AmazonI sent in my Saros 10 for repairs because the mop kept detaching during cleaning. That was the only issue — everything else was working perfectly. However, when the device was returned to me, it would no longer charge. I left it charging overnight, but still nothing.
I reached out to Roborock, and they asked me to send it back again. It turned out to be an electrical issue, which they initially tried to blame on me. I reminded them that the original device had no electrical problems — only the mop attachment issue. They eventually admitted fault and offered to send me a refurbished Saros 10, since my original unit was deemed beyond repair.
I wasn’t comfortable with this option, as I had no way of knowing the history or condition of the refurbished unit. Still, I agreed, since it was clear they weren’t willing to provide a brand-new replacement. Later, I was told that the refurbished Saros 10 was taking too long to repair, and they wanted to send me a refurbished different model instead. I declined, and now I’m being told I’ll have to wait another 10 days for the refurbished Saros 10 to be ready. If it’s taking that long to “fix,” I can only imagine what condition it’s in.
Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time I’ve had problems with Roborock’s customer service. Just last year, I sent in my S7 Max Ultra for a minor repair, which they lost in their warehouse. They replaced it with a refurbished unit that broke within a week. To make matters worse, I couldn’t even trade it in later because it “wasn’t the original device I purchased.” How convenient. I ultimately had to buy a new one out of pocket.
I shouldn’t have to settle for refurbished replacements — especially when I don’t know the extent of their prior issues — simply because Roborock refuses to provide new devices when they make mistakes.
At this point, it’s time to start looking for a new company.
