Pros & Cons
Pros
- Exceptional Cleaning and Hair Handling: The vacuum delivers powerful 22,000Pa suction that effectively removes pet hair and debris, complemented by a zero-tangling brush that prevents long hair from wrapping around the rollers.
- Ultra-Thin Low Profile: At only 3.14 inches tall, the robot's slim design allows it to clean under low furniture such as sofas, beds, and even some appliances that traditional upright vacuums cannot reach.
- Fast and Accurate Mapping: The LiDAR and AI navigation systems allow the robot to map large homes quickly—sometimes within 30 minutes—and the intuitive app makes it easy to set up schedules and no-go zones.
Cons
- Hardware Reliability Issues: Multiple reviews report units failing within a few months or even hours of use, with specific problems including docking failures, side brush malfunctions, and mop attachment errors.
- Poor Customer Support: Users frequently describe support as unhelpful, citing slow response times, repetitive troubleshooting instructions, and a policy of offering refurbished units rather than new replacements for defective products.
- Navigation and Software Glitches: Despite advanced sensors, some units struggle with obstacle avoidance for items like cords, occasionally get lost, or miss large sections of a room during a cleaning cycle.

Robo vac with some nice features
Dirrrty February 20, 2025Review source: AmazonGetting this setup out of the box was pretty quick and easy and overall it’s a good vac. The setup itself is straight forward. You vacuum bag is already installed. You have to install a few piece like the ramp and fill up the water tank and solution. Plus go through the registration process in the app. First though for the cons. Be warned you must have internet for it to work. You have to download an app plus give it location access. I’m not a big fan of this. The dust bin on the vac itself is also a bit on the smaller side. Even so on the dust bin size it did not have to return to the base to empty itself during it’s run. It also took a bit to complete it’s cleaning job. It would make multiple passes in one room then go to another and then come back to the room it was just in. One room it hit three times before completing the job. Although you may or may not consider it a con the vac itself it on the heavier side. But remember this is a combination vac and mop. So not really a con per se. One thing I also noticed is that when using the balanced mode for cleaning regular floors was that some things on the floor didn’t get picked up. You can manually set the power level so you may want to up it to turbo. Although this will of course drain your battery quicker. It uses bags instead of having a bagless bin that you can just empty. So you will have a cost on buying replacement bags. When the vac returns to it’s base the vacuum itself doesn’t keep running. This being the case I noticed that it did drag some dirt up onto the ramp. Being a combo mop it doesn’t come with any solution in the box. Finally the app does take a bit of getting use to and could use a little bit better organizing. Also the map that ours generated didn’t really look like our house at first. This is just my opinion though.
Now for the pros
Mapping your living space is so quick. I’ve used other vacs in the past and mapping seems to take quite a while. Mapping the house with this was pretty quick. Just make sure to have your floors relatively picked up while it maps. It still can map even if you have stuff around. I know this since I have kids. Also since it has LiDAR it does a pretty good job of mapping practically all the areas of your house. Cleaning carpets this does very well and picked up all the dirt we had on them. This is in balanced mode too. Navigation around objects in the house is very good too. As well as object recognition. It flagged everything in the house that it saw as needing to be flagged and also did a good job avoiding objects. So it is pretty smart the fact it can do so much. Room naming was off though. It said our hallway was a bedroom. All it really required us to do was rename it in the app. One thing that is nice is the cable management that the base has on the back of it. No need to have wires running all over the place with this. The roller brushes are very easy to remove. So when it comes time to replace them popping the old ones off and the new ones on will take no time. And it is tool-less. Lastly the vacuum itself and the base when emptying a pretty quiet. Believe me having something like this especially if you have kids is very nice to have. It will help you save some time and maybe a little bit of sanity. Especially when you can setup routines with this and even control it with Alexa and other smart home hubs. Plus the built-in voice commands it has so you can directly control the vac. Definitely a lot of tech built into this unit.Review Update 3/1/2025
After running this for a while now I’ve noticed issues starting to arise out of this vac. First off I’m seeing navigation issues. For example one time it went towards a corner and then started just spinning in circles. I had to physically move the vac in order to get it to reorient itself. It will also not work on one room at a time. I’ve notice that it will complete part of a room and then move to another one close to the one it is working on. It will then return back to the previous room it was in. Although it does still continue to clean. Also it’s missing sizable swaths of the floor or carpet without ever touching them. Some times it will sometimes it won’t. We had one room that still had debris on the floor while other points were clean. Not sure why it wouldn’t get an entire room that is clear. Next off is issues with obstacles and avoidance. I’ve watched this run over some cords multiple times. Get hung on top of cords and pretty much ignore obstacles in it’s way. They definitely have a way to go on the software side with this vac. -
Now this is a cleaning robot!
Ray February 19, 2025Review source: AmazonWow, what a machine! This is the fourth vacuum cleaning robot and the second vacuum/mop robot I’ve owned and this thing puts them all to shame! It’s sleek and attractive and it takes up less space than you think. It doesn’t take away from my decor at all!
Setting the machine up was easy. You just snapped one piece on, plugged it in and positioned it, filled the water and cleaning solution tanks, and then downloaded the app to hook it up to your wireless router. After that, the robot charged for a bit and was then ready to do its thing. It has a nice, pleasant voice that keeps me updated on what it’s doing and it really, really cleans! It’s the most powerful robot vacuum cleaner I’ve owned thus far and the mopping feature is great! I didn’t know it heated the water up!
You can watch the robot’s moves through the app and you can even use the camera that is installed within the robot’s “eyes” to see from a ground level what’s going on. That was really cool, but I was also like, “Dang, is it really that dusty underneath my furniture?” Thankfully, I have this robot to clean moving forward so I don’t have to do it myself!
The robot charges quickly and the battery life is strong. It is very intelligent when it comes to where it is and isn’t going to go. You can always tweak that through the mapping settings on the app to designate areas where you don’t want the robot to clean. I watched the robot clean and it’s super gentle when it’s approaching baseboards and furniture. It slows down to the point where when it bumps into the wall or a chair, it’s just a light tap. No damage will be done here!
I’m super excited about this robot cleaner because anything that keeps me from doing chores is great! But having said that, this robot is definitely at the top tier of models on the market. I couldn’t be happier! A+ item and a full five out of five stars!

ROBOROCK DOES IT AGAIN!
Verified purchase Verified purchase: This reviewer bought the product. Incentivized Incentivized review: The reviewer received a benefit for sharing feedback.Tyscorp February 18, 2025Review source: BestbuyThe Saros 10 is packed with all the latest features, and all the features work as advertised. I am coming from a MaxV S8 Ultra, and the Saros 10 is a definite upgrade with improvements to existing features. The 22k Pa suction power can handle any mess in its way. I would recommend this unit for people with large floor plans, as it would be overkill for smaller ones. The price is high, but compared to the competition out there, what you get makes the cost-to-value ratio well worth it. If you can pick this unit up on sale, then it is a no-brainer to purchase. In my opinion, the app is the easiest to use and most intuitive for all kinds of options compared to any other competitor platforms.

Doesn't come with any cleaning solution
Verified purchase Verified purchase: This reviewer bought the product.J. Peshek February 16, 2025Review source: AmazonJust got the machine, have not put it through it’s paces yet, but just in case you’re thinking about purchasing, it does not come with any cleaning solution and they explicitly say not to use any other kind. For this kind of money, There is no excuse not to include a small bottle of cleaning solution. It does come with one spare dust bag, but as of this writing on 2/16/2025 there are none available to purchase. I’m ordering the cleaning solution now, and will update this review once I get to know the machine better.
Update…3/5/25
Support contacted me after writing this review and paid for my cleaning solution. I understand now why it’s not included, it takes a whole bottle! Not sure how long that lasts, we’ll see. As for performance, it does a great job distinguishing between our throw rugs and hard floor, increasing the suction on the rugs. We had an old roborock before, and the app was not great. The new app is way better, but then again this machine has alot more features. The mop function is better than I expected, I just did a small room, the kitchen. Vacuum and mop each took about 10 minutes, which seemed decent. Did a really good job too, although there was no dried sauce on the floor or anything like that. Very happy so far, when we start dumping mop water and changing dust bags I’ll let you know how that goes. -
I didn't think I'd love it THIS much, but I do. It's an excellent robo vacuum.
Summer February 16, 2025Review source: AmazonReviewing roborock Saros 10 Robot Vacuum and Mop, Full disclosure: I ordered this mainly for the vacuum function and less so for the mop function. We do use the mop function in the bathrooms on the tile, but not on the hardwoods that are in the rest of the house.
I love that it is on the smaller side and unobtrusive (including the docking station). We have it in a faraway corner and it is not even noticeable. The self-empty feature works flawlessly, and the battery lasts long enough to clean our whole main level. The suction power is great, and it transitions easily from our hardwoods to the rugs we have set up.
The mop function works well for our bathrooms. The water is heated up so it is fairly hot, which is great for a good cleaning job and it has a drying function so that the mop pads are dried after use. The vacuum can remove the mop pads without manual intervention when you are just vacuuming, which is such a hassle saver.
We store things under our beds in two of the three bedrooms, so we mark under the beds off as no-go zones, and it’s always been a pain to set up on our Samsung but it was simple and quick to do on the roborock and it strictly adhered to the map. No surprises have been had!
Overall, this is a great advanced robot vacuum. If you are just looking for a base model, without bells and whistles to play with or set up, I would go with a cheaper model, but if you desire all the features that are available now in a robot vacuums and you can afford it, the roborock Saros 10 is a great choice. It really is top of the line. The performance is excellent, as are the amount of features it has. I had to search hard for a negative to be fair, but the only one I have found is that the finish on the bin smudges easily. That said, it also wipes clean easily. Even fingerprints come off easily.
