    First a little history. We’ve had a few robot vacumms and the last one was the top of the line Irobot. The Irobot lasted about 5 years and several replacement parts later it finall y quit working. We’ve had a Roborock in the past that I liked so I decided and got this one. Within the first hour, plugged base in, mapped approx. 1800 sqft downstairs, set up room dividers, set up schedules and started the 1st vacuum job. All within an hour of unpackaging! Probably the easiet thing I’ve ever set up, period. Seriously have no regrets, confirmed I made the right purchase and so far worth every penny!

    This lovely little robovac is an absolute game changer.. love the mop feature especially. Also love that you have the option to not use the mop and just vacuum.

    I wouldn’t say this completely removes the need for a regular vacuum if you have a pet with lots of hair but in the time we’ve had her (yes her, her name is Rocky 😉 and no we didn’t choose it but it suits her) we’ve only used the mini vac for small cleanups. So depending on your needs she may actually replace a full vacuum.

    Also she’s beautiful! And while not completely silent she’s surprisingly quiet. Would highly recommend

    Up until now I’ve been a Roomba gal, but this vacuum has changed my mind. I bought this because of its high rating with long hair and it’s delivered. I’ve been using it every other day for almost 2 months on the 2nd floor where most of my hair falls out and not one hair wrapping issue! I do think Roomba cleans just a bit better, but to be able to have it run without raking up long hair first is amazing. I don’t use the mop feature but when my current Roomba dies I’ll replace it with another one of these for my first floor. Also high marks for recognizing stairs without having to identify them on a map first. Giving it 4 stars since I think it could clean a tad bit better and during initial setup it couldn’t find the base even though it was right in front of it, but otherwise I’m loving this and would highly recommend, especially for homes with lots of hair.

    Don’t buy. Worked great for a few months, then started having trouble docking itself and eventually lacked the ability altogether. It stops working in the middle of a job, lying dead on the floor, constantly trying to reboot itself. Ive tried cleaning the sensors but that does nothing. I haven’t contacted the company yet, but from what I hear they’re not helpful and not what I bought the product for.

    Get the 10R. No question as they are the same price but this one has lessor tech. I am up in the air on this 10 unit. I do not like that roborock is so expensive and they wont provide soap. They add another 50 for that when you are foced to buy. Also the 10R has been showing to be better all around. So if you see my review dont do what I did. This machine works good but the 10R has a more advanced nav system and a stronger mopping system for the same damn price. I also see they both have the same suction but the 10R still did better on the tests. Stop overcharging us for a lessor product. I was fooled. Overall I am still happy… It has gotten stuck a few times because 10 does not do as well as the 10R around wires.

    Pros:
    My floors have never been cleaner. ever.
    Not having to worry about filling or emptying the water is nice.
    Customer support is EXCELLENT and knowledgeable.
    it’s so low profile it goes under nearly ANYTHING. Couches, fish tank stands, cribs.
    It’s been running over a month and has not needed its detergent refilled once. and I’ve been using it HEAVY in a 3 bedroom 4 bath house.
    Lots of useful and even fun options in the app. Tons of customizability.
    Mapping accuracy is highly accurate.
    When using AI smart plan battery life is no issue.

    Cons:
    For $1800, this thing shouldnt need to be rescued as often as it does.
    for $1800, it shouldn’t leave little compressed logs of dog hair in places.
    for $1800 you should not have to go out and buy extra plumbing to make it work.
    The manufacturers assume every home has a spigot and drain in the same room. That means it WILL need to go in your laundry room.
    it’s very easy for it to get louder than it should. like if something gets caught in the brush, say a qtip. It can’t handle it and will either get stuck or be very loud while the vacuum is running.
    Setup was CHAOS. I mean, it took two tries and a lot of sweat and cursing and learning about plumbing.
    There was precisely ONE place in my home it can go an it wasnt where I originally wanted it. Compromises had to be made.

    In conclusion: for my first robo vacuum I wanted to go BIG so I spent BIG. I’m not knowledgeable enough about robovacs, but this one is pretty great. my house is a mix of hardwood and some rugs and it is doing a great job keeping it clean with 3 kids under 5, 2 adults and 2 large breed indoor dogs. This thing is a beast. As far as value for money goes, You could probably get a comparable vac for a little less. but this thing can truly be set and forget.
