Unlike earlier models it navigates our complex and ever changing house (4 dogs, 4 cats) with almost no issues. One of the only times it got stuck a pillow fell off of the couch and trapped it. It even did a GREAT job of scrubbing our sunroom which has several parrots! The main issue that I’ve found is that the fresh and dirty water tanks are WAY too small. It can’t even deep clean 1000 square feet without running out of fresh water. The manufacturer needs to at least double the size of each, even if that means making the base taller.

Second unit stopped charging after 4 months. Sent for repair and came back with same issue, not fixed. Check the neg. reviews its a pricey purchase to gamble if you will be one of us with a junk unit and left unsupported.

I retired my SV7 Max Ultra (which still performs extremely well) – because I really get tired or refilling/dumping) the tanks and the dust bag is small. The mop is exceptionally better. I removed my utility sink in the laundry room and had a plumber hook it up (relatively inexpensive). Ive always kept two robots (sv7 and an older roomba) – i will never go with another brand – and this will now be the only robot I need and I have 2 shedding Australian Shepherds and a 2,800 sq ft house (one level). This has been well worth the $1,400 (Thanks PRIME day). I will, as always stay on a maintenance schedule and will change this review if its quality deteriorates. Why 98% satisfied and not 100%? Corners- but no robot has ever fully cleaned corners.

If you encounter a problem, be prepared to ship the entire unit back to them, so make sure you keep the original box. The process was slow, and waiting for their replies was a truly frustrating experience.
