Roku Pro Series 4K 120Hz QLED Smart RokuTV

I tested this TV thoroughly. I tried content in various formats at 720p, 1080p, 1440p and 2160p. I said ” OMG and No Frickin’ Way ” several times. From the motion, contrast and color this TV can and will enhance content. You have the option to let ” AI ” automatically adjust your picture depending on the scene, or you can play around with the settings yourself. Watch any 4K Ultra HD animal documentary and you’ll understand right away that you now have a modern TV. Vibrant, life like and awesome is the final verdict. The remote is awesome too! It feels great in your hand and is rechargeable. Buttons are snappy and the ROKU software is very responsive. Far more responsive and more intuitive than displays with Google TV installed. We upgraded to this TV for that very reason. If you’re looking to upgrade your 4K display from 5 years ago, or you’ve never had a 4K TV I don’t see how you can go wrong here. And for the gamers the TV 100% has two HDMI 2.1 ports to take full advantage of 4K gaming at 120hz. Its definitely a leap compared to 4K 60hz. From an Audio standpoint there is no 1/4″ audio input to run to a surround sound system. There is however an optical port. The built in speakers are a definite upgrade from TV speakers of the past. Thumbs up! Now am I saying this is better than the latest greatest $2500 to $4000 TV? Of course not. This is for regular people who want a display that’s far better than what they had previously. Especially if they had a ” GOOGLE TV ” that constantly crashes, screen goes black, always have to reboot etc. I absolutely took a risk and bought the 65″ Roku Pro Series when it had ZERO reviews and barely any feedback online. I’m glad I did. For $1200 this could be the best option there is.

If it didn’t have built-in unremovable ads this would be a 5-star product.

Was at the store to buy a Frame TV, tested this out and decided to buy it. IMO it’s better and cheaper than the Frame TV, however one downside is that it doesn’t come with the flat wall mount you have to buy it separately.

If you have a bright room, this TV is perfect because it can get really bright with amazing highlights.

The picture quality was disappointing. Not as advertised. Adjusting the settings did not help.
After 3 days of use, the speakers began squealing horribly.
Power-down did not stop the noise. Had to unplug the TV from the electrical outlet.
I am returning this $1,000 lemon to Amazon!

Bought this for my husband. He loves it! Great picture! The sound quality is awesome. Really is a surround sound.

Our 12 year old 51 inch 1080p was great, (it’s now the guest room tv) and never had a problem but we needed an upgrade, and wow what a difference! I’ll cover Setup, picture, and sound.
Setup: It’s heavy but easy to do with 2 people, and in true to ROKU form easy setup with the remote.

Picture: The picture is perfect; clear, detailed immersive and colorful when watching 4k or HDR content, but it also makes your favorite old shows pop, and no more grainy look.

The sound: ROKU’s built in speakers work better than anticipated.
I was concerned BC Our living room is huge, and it’s multi use. The kitchen is in it and an open dining room on the side with only one wall to bounce the side firing speakers.
BUT, the sound is still pretty amazing for built in.
Please note that older content will not playback with Dolby vision or ATMOS sound; only movies and or TV shows that use it, so don’t expect much.
ATMOS: now even with our open living room when watching content that has Atmos, the surround sound is incredible and immersive. You can hear every pin drop in your ear and, no more turning the volume to 70 just to make it loud enough. For us it’s about 37. Not bad for built in speakers.
Dolby vision and Atmos content will display on the screen for content that uses it.
Cons: The side firing speakers are made for sitting directly in front of the TV, which neither of us do, but still effective; so you’ll need a soundbar with bluetooth or optical to enhance the experience, but totally not needed for smaller rooms.
All in all we are pleased with it.

We needed an upgrade on our bedroom tv. I’m so happy with my purchase of the Roku 55” Pro Series Smart TV 4K. For starters, the set up process was seamless. It only took about 10/15 min.

The picture quality is unbelievable and so clear. I was also impressed by the sound system. It feels like my bedroom is a theatre and I loved it.

If you’re in need of a new tv or upgrade I highly recommend this one.

as with several other manufacturers l I disappointingly found that Roku does not support a browser and one cannot be installed. THis makes for one DUMB TV!

This TV allows me to check all the boxes. The new remote has backlighted buttons, and the Bluetooth feature allows me to hear the audio through my hearing aids. The “rocket” key makes it possible to create shortcuts for various apps. Even the legs can be adjusted for different heights, and the side-firing speakers make for much better sound for those who don’t have advanced audio systems.
