This is a VERY common issue (check Reddit), and Samsung will not cover under warranty because its “physical damage” It happens because the plastic gets brittle after many heat/cool cycles. I’m lucky that I can still use the button with my finger tip, but your mileage may vary. After some research I found that the button is not replaceable, the whole main board need to be replaced to fix, see picture. YOU WERE WARNED.

For starters, if you plan on getting this monitor for consoles, you’re gonna have a bad time. It does not support hdmi 2.1. If you use hdmi 2.1 on the hdmi 2.0 that display offers, you will notice ungodly amount of input lag, smearing and ghosting, and stuttering beyond belief. That’s the reason for my rating to be low. However, the potential is there for sure, if you plan on using it for PC via display port. Everything this display is so great for is there 100%. It’s just not there for console users, and for 1 reason only; no hdmi 2.1… If you read anything online saying that the G61SD QHD QDOLED supports 2.1, it’s a lie. I believe the 4k does, but may be another lie.
