However, I was completely wrong. This monitor is absolutely gorgeous! The colors are breathtaking when properly set up, as demonstrated in an online tutorial that recommends the best settings. The clarity, the blacks, and the 240Hz refresh rate make it truly stunning.
People complain or are scared of the matte screen I have it sitting next to a glossy screen and you can’t tell the difference when they’re both on. Off the only difference is you can see the reflection and light bouncing off the gloss one while the matte monitor is seemingly a void into darkness. It’s an impressive matte coating that deserves more praise. If you don’t like matte and are thinking of getting this, see if a local BestBuy has one in stock to look at it.

Item was not cleaned or sanitized. The screen has some sort of ghosting on the bottom and the rear RGB light does not turn on. Buy it new, even though it comes out more expensive. It has warranty, but Samsung does not cover Puerto Rico for some unknown reason. I will never purchase any used item. I needed the screen because I am a student, but Amazon could not replace it, just offered a refund and that did not work for me.

I especially love all the ports on the back. I honestly didn’t realize how big of a difference this monitor would make picture wise. The slim design along with the stand look beautiful on a desk. I know some people will find it annoying but I personally love the screen optimization notification, since giving the monitor a 15 minute break when given that message greatly increases longevity of the monitor.

The blacks on-screen are phenomenal. The darkness really pops out at you as you expect an OLED should, but what amazes me about this monitor is the colors are also extraordinarily vibrant. I have been thoroughly spoiled with this monitor and I don’t think I could ever go back, even to the extent that I am buying a second one to replace my second display monitor. Most would argue there is no need for an OLED as a secondary display, but after seeing how stunningly beautiful this monitor is, I don’t think there is quite literally any other option.
Monitor is worth the money, functions appropriately, and the software is also great. Highly recommend if you are looking for an OLED.
Side note: I saw a lot of folks complaining about the matte coating on the screen. I don’t mind it at all. It may not be for everyone, but matte coating has it’s own advantages and disadvantages. That said, it looks great and has no noticeable problems at all, I would suggest this monitor to anyone looking for a great OLED.

Impossible to fix with type software or any hardware setting. Text on browsers, windows apps, games, makes my eyes hurt. Basically the RGB is arranged in a triangle formation, not a box. There is a visible green border around every character on one side, and a magenta on the other. It’s back in the box and am using my older IPS monitor.
