Clarity and color were great and the stand was solid. Mostly used for work and it handled split screens well. USB-C connection while charging my laptop worked well also. However, like a others have mentioned, the monitor came with dead pixels. It was only a few minor pixels that could be easily hidden with a dark background, but I wasn’t comfortable receiving a bad product at this price point. I hate returning items, debating if I try purchasing again.

This is a great monitor but you may want to keep a few things in mind.This is rated for 100hz refresh rate, however, if you have a laptop with integrated Intel graphics, you will only see 60hz refresh and you may get a warning that it isn’t set up to optimal resolution. The warning goes away and it will work just fine. You will need device with an Nvidia or AMD graphics card to take full advantage.
The one USB-C cable ‘docking’ feature is awesome. Cable is included. Charges your laptop. Clean setup. Windows 11 makes it super easy and clean to split screen in many configurations without any 3rd party app.
I was expecting a little more in terms of build quality for a monitor this price but it isn’t bad.

If you need an ultra wide monitor and also you would like to have a curved one, this is the monitor you’d like to have. 1000R rate gives a feeling as you are within the monitor since it goes along with human eyes perfectly. It’s colors are pretty nice and it also has an eye care mode that you can use to protect your eyes.
The stand that comes with it is pretty nice and it will not take a lot of your desk space.It is not very heavy, I was able to install it on my monitor mounth which is for 27″ moniutors.It is pretty lightweight.
You can’t go any better than 34″ 1000R Samsung Monitor..It comes with Type C usb with 90W charging power, HDMI& Display port, LAN port that allows your laptop with no ethernet port to connect via your screen and etc…
100Hz refresh rate is not the best rate for gaming but it is still not bad. It also supports AMD FreeSync.
If you need an ultra wide QHD monitor, I can definitely suggest this!

I’ve had multiple Samsung monitors in the past, so I knew the quality would not be disappointing. But this monitor is game changing in the sense that it provides a more immersive experience, especially for gaming which I absolutely love. This monitor is also good for my work and business, as it allows me to have the depth of two monitors put together as one. Now I don’t have to have a separation between screens, and can have half my work on one side and half on the other. It’s a great and versatile monitor that works great for many different scenarios. The inputs allow for me to have both my gaming systems set up as well as my work computer set up. I never thought I would like curved monitors previously, but I actually really ended up liking this one. In addition to the cool shape and more immersive feeling with the monitor, it is also great because of the brightness and vivid colors that it provides. This monitor allows for you to edit the colors and settings as per any regular monitor, but it does have a few extras. Overall, I am very impressed with this monitor and I highly recommend it to anyone, especially gamers!

I contacted Samsung on the 3rd model and their response was that “You should of ordered directly from us to ensure better quality”… So i returned it and went with a different manufacturer with “better quality”. I knew better then to order a Samsung. If you order one, make sure to do the diagnostic test and look for black spots.

I have always been interested in the curved monitors and after using this for several weeks I don’t want to go back. It’s a beautiful display with a lot of functionality. It came well packed and packaged. Once everything was out of the box it only took a few minutes to assemble and have it ready to go. You get all the cables you might need. Some manufacturers offer two or three input ports but only one random Cable.
The display itself is crystal clear. This is in my home office and I have a Mac Studio and my aging Windows gaming machine hooked to it. The Mac is connected via USB-C and the Windows machine via DisplayPort. I did initially have the Mac hooked up with an HDMI cable so all the ports have been tested.
Using it day to day with the Mac is just nice. It’s easy on the eyes. The curved screen lets you see all 34” of screen easily. Playing games full screen on either computer is a new experience. Enemies in shooter/strategy games can no longer hide as easily. Games I have played for a few years are suddenly a VERY different experience in vibrant 3K….
My only real con is the controls. You DO get used to it quickly but you are essentially blindly manipulating a 5 button control pad under the center of the monitor. My setup didn’t help with a speaker bar there. After a few days of use I’ve gotten proficient with it though.
Overall, I am ecstatic over this monitor. It really has been a positive change overall.

The description states a maximum resolution of 3440 x 1440 pixels the problem for me was my PC could only push 1920×1080 so while it could run on my PC the lower resolution looked distorted on this wide screen.

Initial order of this had a defect on the screen, which was just a visual dark mark across part of the screen that didn’t affect performance, but did not seem to diminish over time. I did have to return it, but the replacement came 48 hours later and had no defect and I could continue on.
I have been unable to get this to get this past 50hz on my Mac, however on my Windows PC I’m able to get it 100hz HDR with no problem, and have run it through its paces.
As a daily monitor it’s great, browsing, videos, coding all with no issue, and I’m sold on the idea of 34″+ curved monitors for work spaces in the future as opposed to dual monitor.
Gaming is a little overwhelming on a monitor of this size, but it’s been able to handle the paces of my RTX 4070 w/ no issue and quite fun.
Now I have nothing to compare this to other than an older Acer Predator XB270HU, but the SAMSUNG Viewfinity S65UA is brighter than that, though obviously with eye-protection does dim/dull it a little.
I highly suggest this especially at the price-point its set at ~599 US
