From half the screen going out, to the whole screen going out, turning off by itself, lowering resolution, refusing to use a high frame rate, to just jumping to garbage apps that shouldn’t even be on the device (it’s supposed to be a monitor, not a roku), this is by far the worst computer monitor I’ve ever owned and now it’s too late to return it. The menus take up too much of the screen so if you’re trying to read instructions while changing settings you have to use another device. They brag about there being zero buttons on it which is fine until the remote pairs with your Samsung TV for no reason and you can’t even turn on your monitor to use it.

Because it comes with a remote with no input button, it’s a pain to change inputs out of the box. The solution is easy, cheap and totally absurd that it needs to be done. Just buy a Samsung TV service remote. It has an input button.
I’m not going to go into technical specs, there’s dozens of review sites for that, but to sum up, it’s an acceptable display for gaming and productivity. It’s not quite as good as an OLED display, but it also isn’t going to have burn-in issues. It’s reasonably durable, and held up to being towed around on freeways in an RV.
I’m happy with it’s performance for the most part. It has some issues with the connection occasionally blanking out at 4k144 over HDMI. Doesn;t happen with DisplayPort, or at 4k120. I think it might be the cable I’m using.
I could do without the Tizen OS features, I don’t use them at all, but they’re easy enough to ignore, as long as you never give the monitor internet access.

1. Do not use if your video card does not support displayPort, it has all kinds of problems with HDMI which will cause endless frustration
2. Do not use if this is intended to be your primary monitor for your computer and not one you occasionally switch to for gaming. It’s simply too big. Our brain expect straight edges to remain straight within a limited field of view.
On a large flat panel, the edges are physically farther away from your eyes than the center. Your brain compensates and interprets this as the screen “bowing forward.” It’s a truly maddening optical illusion that is caused by being too close to a big screen.
3. Speakers sound awful
4. The controls built into the monitor are completely unusable. it comes with a remote, but it was not clear the remote was the primary way to interact with the device until about an hour of frustration trying to tweak the display settings
5. Not impressed with the display fidelity, but it’s not bad
6. Overall poorly engineered with very bad user experienceI ended up giving it to a colleague.
It’s just okay, definitely not worth more than $500.00 USD
