Pros & Cons
Pros
- Stunning Visual Performance: The 4K Quantum Mini-LED display provides vibrant colors, high brightness, and deep blacks that many reviewers compare favorably to OLED technology, making it excellent for HDR content.
- Excellent Gaming Features: With a 144Hz refresh rate, 1ms response time, and HDMI 2.1 support, it delivers a smooth and immersive experience for both high-end PC rigs and next-gen consoles like the PS5 and Xbox Series X.
- Versatile Hybrid Functionality: It successfully bridges the gap between a high-end gaming monitor and a Smart TV, featuring built-in streaming apps, decent integrated speakers, and a convenient remote control for media consumption.
Cons
- Frustrating Software Interface: The Tizen OS is frequently described as slow, laggy, and overly complex, with users particularly annoyed by the lack of a dedicated input-switching button on the remote.
- Persistent Connectivity Bugs: Users report significant issues with the monitor failing to wake from sleep, losing signals on DisplayPort, and experiencing random flickering or artifacts that often require a hard reset.
- Noticeable Motion Artifacts: As a VA panel, it suffers from ghosting and black smearing during fast-paced scenes or when scrolling through text, and the viewing angles can cause color shifting at the edges of the large screen.

Doesnt work with high end pcs
Verified purchase Verified purchase: This reviewer bought the product.Rebecca Crowe December 10, 2023Review source: AmazonBuilt a 3000$ pc to game in 4k with but no matter what I do it wont read the pc. It says “Turn on the device connected to Hdmi 1.” Then turns off after 60 seconds. Multiple people have this problem with no solutions. Absolute piece off garbage whats the point in making a 4k “gaming monitor” if you can use a pc with it.

Amazing clarity, super fast, lots of options…
Verified purchase Verified purchase: This reviewer bought the product.Matthew Canaday December 7, 2023Review source: AmazonI’m a gamer from way back with a decent rig (Intel i7, 64gigs RAM, RTX 4090) and until I purchased this monitor I never fully appreciated the power of my system. It has more bells and whistles than I need, but who knows? Maybe I’ll plug it directly into the internet and start using it as an independent entertainment system as well… Love this monitor, highly recommended!

A good starter 43" 4K monitor
Verified purchase Verified purchase: This reviewer bought the product.dijadoit December 3, 2023Review source: AmazonIt is a monitor that is also imitating a smart TV to get that out of the way. So the display is good equivalent to some of the higher end models but its not perfect though.

Best Big Format Monitor Per Dollar
Verified purchase Verified purchase: This reviewer bought the product.Christopher Cruey December 1, 2023Review source: AmazonFor the money this monitor rocks. Got it at $500, but I do think it would be worth upwards of $750 maybe not the $1000 original asking price. Black levels CAN get as low as my 48″ C1 LG OLED I replaced with this. It did take a few days to get dialed in settings wise, and I decided to write this after 2 weeks of rocking those settings because the picture really looks fantastic. I get NO ghosting when gaming, and I don’t have the lag in the menu that others have talked about. Probably due to firmware refreshes which is great. No issue running 144hz over HDMI 2.1. If you are on the fence about this monitor jump off it and buy it and feel great about it like I do

Great picture quality and brightness, HORRIBLE ghosting and viewing angles
Verified purchase Verified purchase: This reviewer bought the product.Chris November 30, 2023Review source: AmazonWhere do I start…
Pros:
+Great, vibrant colors.
+Great HDR.
+Gets nice and bright.
+Has smart TV features if that’s your thing.
+High refresh rateCons:
-Local dimming is noticeable. Not nearly as bad as most others but with the lights off you’ll see it.
-Viewing angles are horrible. Even sitting right in front of it the edges have colors shifting. Forget about others seeing it well unless they’re right behind you.
-The ghosting… dear GOD the ghosting is horrible. They advertise it is “1ms” but I can assure you it is NOWHERE near. Anything dark will smear (including text) when moving like no other monitor I’ve ever seen. Not too noticeable in games so if you’re purely using this for PC gaming or console its fine. But for literally anything else my 18-year-old 4:3 LCD screen looks better. In summary:
If you want a monitor to use for consoles or for ONLY gaming on your PC it’s passable. But if you want to use your PC for anything else you’re better off with a different monitor. Returned mine and got a C3 TV instead. I have a feeling that Samsung just took one of their TVs, put a different case on it and overclocked the crap out of it to hit 144hz and said “good enough”. -
Don’t buy a TV monitor!
Verified purchase Verified purchase: This reviewer bought the product.Amazon Customer November 28, 2023Review source: AmazonIn the process of refunding right now.
1. inaccurate description: It is actually 120 hz refresh rate overclocking to 144hz.
2. Is it a TV or a monitor: I think this is more like a TV that supports 144hz overclock refresh rate rather than a monitor. All those smart tv programs and channels are totally unnecessary.
3. What’s your purpose of buying this product: can your graphic card run a 4K game at 144 refresh rate?
At first I thought playing shooting game on this TV monitor will be great. But it turns out to be without DLSS, even RTX 4070 can’t run some shooting games at 4K 144. Then in this case, why not buying a 4K OLED 65inch TV and play video game with that? It would be bigger and cheaper. Plus most TV today support 120hz.In conclusion:
You only want to buy this product
1. if your graphic card is significantly better than RTX 4070
2. If you don’t have a big screen TV or monitor at home
3. If you play some games that have to be at 144 refresh rateOtherwise, don’t buy it. Or you will busy with return and refund like me.

By far the worst monitor I've ever purchased.
Verified purchase Verified purchase: This reviewer bought the product.Bob November 22, 2023Review source: AmazonConstantly flickers and shuts itself off. Never had that problem with my previous monitors.
Arrived with a large cluster of dead pixels almost in the center of the screen.
The remote control is essentially useless.I will never buy a Samsung monitor ever again. Very low quality and WAY overpriced.
