At regular price you’re better off spending the extra $300 and buying the OLED Asus option. I paid $650ish for this unit on a flash sale. For that price this is excellent. The only complaint I have is that if you’re not watching HDR content this thing feels VERY DIM. It’s excellent on my PS5 and PC while playing games like Spider-Man or Ratchet & Clank, etc. Desktop PC content feels muted and no matter what I do with the settings it’s always washed out and gray. I don’t like this as a primary PC display and only see this monitor as good for gaming or video content. Do not get this for productivity in my opinion. I think I will be putting an LG Dual Up on my desk for productivity and then using this for content/game consumption.

It’s a 600 nit display so there are brighter HDR monitors out there. It looks great at 144 hz. There are lots of reviews on YouTube about the shortcomings of this display. All I can say is that personally I don’t see such artifacts in practice at the “faster” gaming mode, but I do at the normal and fastest settings.
It’s a BGR display and UI fonts look weird no matter how you configure clear type. The stand is pretty good and maneuverable. -

It would make noise for about half a second then cut out again. The picture never came back on. I’ve owned four different Samsung monitors over the years with no issues, so this was hopefully this was a rare occurrence. I put one star because the return process is taking way more time than I would hope for something that I spent so much money on.

Verified purchase Verified purchase: This reviewer bought the product.DasFam September 5, 2023Review source: AmazonThis monitor says it’s a 144mhz panel and that you can overclock it by putting it into “extreme” first off if you do this it’ll just keep flickering black until you turn it back to “normal and or faster” secondly, this monitor will also NOT WORK at 144mhz so I had to change it and cap it to 120mhz to stop it from flickering and shutting itself off.
This monitor says it’s a 4K monitor and it is but only up to 60FPS. This monitors colors are HORRENDOUS I’ve had to sit here and mess with it every single time it flickers off.
This is nothing but a glorified 43” TV that can be used as a monitor in low resolution. And on that note it excels.

I bought the 43” and it’s huge. I use this in my lounge as I game from my couch. That is the perfect setup due to its huge size.
I didn’t buy this to watch movies but I got one hell of a surprise and the unbelievably lifelike graphic display of movies! My god! It’s like I am seeing something right in front of me in real time.
The only CON:
This AppStore for this monitor does not have all apps. If you want STEAM to stream to this monitor and your PC is not hooked up you have zero options to play steam games.
So you’d need to have a gaming lap top or Pc hooked up to this if you wanted to run steam games from it.
Steam deck and remote play did not work for me when trying. -

And every time I turn the computer on I have to go through turning the monitor on and off, unplugging it, disconnecting the display port just to get it to display the pc. It looks great when it is on, but getting it to turn on is a hassle. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone unless you plan to use it as a streaming device.
