It was one of the worst decisions I made when building my home studio. The amount of times I have to reset the monitor because it wants to auto detect the source is criminal. You will hate using this monitor. It is not color accurate it is over saturated and inconsistent. It does not connect well to hdmi ports on laptops. It’s a bad monitor with “fake smart” features that you will never use.

I would skip this if you have more than one device you want to use with this screen frequently. It’s such a pain to use. I wish there was a “just act as a screen stop asking if I want to connect to apps” mode. You also need to download updates and the screen shuts down after 55 seconds if it doesn’t detect any input. Awful for troubleshooting. Next model will probably come with a subscription to use.

Was sent a used monitor.

When I received it the tape on the box had been opened and sort of re-taped. The metal monitor base was lose and I am sure had banged around against the display itself. The bag of cables had been torn open and not even taped closed. The foam cover was shredded and the handholds were torn open exposing the display to the elements.
Against better judgement I did not immediately return (I have a critical deadline next week and need a working display this weekend). Hooked it up and everything seem to be functional. Will burn in for 48 hours and may return at that point.
I own half a dozen Samsung products. This is the worst experience I have had with them. I would recommend you consider alternate vendors.
